The new and improved GPT 4.0 definitely knows who both Sensei Seth and Icy Mike are. It gave accurate descriptions of your channels and content. It then wrote me a pretty darn good fight scene for the two of you, plausibly describing both of your styles and approaches. Here's the first two paragraphs: "In a dimly lit gym, the tension was palpable as Sensei Seth and Icy Mike faced each other, each eager to test their skills in a friendly sparring match. Onlookers eagerly gathered around the makeshift ring, their eyes darting back and forth between the two martial artists. The referee gave them a nod, signaling the start of the match. Sensei Seth quickly assumed his Karate stance, light on his feet and ready to strike. Icy Mike, in a more relaxed and grounded stance, displayed his streetwise approach to self-defense."

ChatGPT basically runs through information that already exists (e.g., stories, where the big guy is usually the bully and the small one is the hero) and distills the patterns it detects into a semblance of a story. That can make the scene seem derivative because ... well, it literally is derivative. The good news is that Hollywood movie writers pretty much do the same thing with recycling stories and tropes. 😂
@dashrirprock
@dashrirprock 11 ай бұрын
There's an old story-telling principle that the villain is more powerful than the hero, which often means bigger. This was even true in the original Space Jam (I don't know about the sequel). If the hero is larger than life, then she's facing down a small army. The odds have to be against them. Obstacles are necessary to validate a person's courage and strength. Or, in the case of romance, to authenticate the love between the protagonists. If it were just A-to-B, then it wouldn't be very interesting or compelling.

You can get it to output much more detailed choreography, it's all in how much detail you go into about what you want in the prompt. You can give it an example to follow, or just ask specifically to go into more detail about X or Y. Just typing "Now expand on that and make it even more detailed" after it gives an output helps too.

it doesn't know much about the real world. how the human body really behaves etc. it can only deduce or cross reference from text, which is already an incredible achievement, but I don't think it would be able to create a martial art, or create new defenses to attacks, physical simulations etc to determine what works best

I asked the ole chat gpt about you guys and got this. "Sure! Icy Mike is a KZbin martial artist who specializes in mixed martial arts (MMA) and street fighting techniques. He has a background in boxing and kickboxing and incorporates these styles into his fighting style. He is known for his quick reflexes, powerful punches, and high kicks. Seth Adams, on the other hand, is a karate sensei who also has a background in kickboxing and Muay Thai. His fighting style is characterized by fluid, graceful movements, with a focus on using kicks and strikes to disable his opponents. He is known for his precise footwork and powerful kicks, which he uses to devastating effect in his fights."

huh... wonder why it seems to be stuck on the same pattern for "fight scene" questions. I understand fighting movie scripts are pretty samey, but there is SOME variety, and I mean in some scenes the "bad guy" wins. If you don't specify in your question, it should sometimes give you an answer with different "fluff" that still fits the question.
@cubandarknez
