I recently went to Aruba with my husband for a 6 day relaxing trip. In this travel vlog, I'm taking you all along as I spend my days just relaxing and eating good food. The resort I stayed in was very very quiet due to the fact that nobody is really traveling to that area at moment. But I honestly enjoyed myself because I really needed a low key trip. We stayed by Palm Beach 🏖️. Took a covid-19 test at airport and bought mandatory insurance but it was worth it. They are taking the virus seriously and it felt very safe and relaxing.

Hello. Since you didn’t stay to the Renaissance hotel how did you get access to the flamingo 🦩 beach ? was it worth it ? Thanks

If you don't stay at the Renaissance hotel, you have to pay a fee to get to the island. Not sure how much now. I haven't been in 2 years. Definitely worth it!! One half of the island is where Flamingo are and the other half is where Iguanas are

So I work at the renaissance. It's 125$ per person, it includes one lunch and one drink (: you have to buy the passes on renarubaislandpasses.com 😊 see u soon!

These poor flamingos cannot fly. Their wings are clipped. The hotel keeps them there. The flamingos are not even native to the island. They are basically being exploited for revenues. Do you think USD 125 is worth that?

Yes, but those palm trees are shipped there(Florida spends lots of money each year having those palm trees shipped from other areas). These Palm trees in Aruba are native. Florida's are Still beautiful tho.

Aruba clip the wings of the flamingos unfortunately, so they can’t fly. Being used as an attraction .

Those flamingos CANNOT or do NOT fly. Their wings are CLIPPED. That is why the flamingos stay on the private island of Renaissance. The flamingos are NOT native to Aruna either. The hotel basically keeps them there and charge $125 for tourists to take lil' photo. Flamingos are native to Bonaire. If you want to see these birds in their natural habitat, go to Bonaire.
