@@Shytot-1 Of course I do, but that doesn't make it not true does it? On the contrary, our faith is evidence based and not a made up religion. Two thousand years ago many people really believed that Jesus was the Messiah because of the miracles He performed and His ressurection. So much so that many died for spreading the Word and many have since throughout history, yet that didn't stop them, Christianity is still here, still the biggest religion and the Bible the best selling book ever, by far , thousands of years later, despite persecution and secularism doing their best to try to stop it. We believe and because we follow Christ, we are promised life eternal with our Creator God, with no suffering or pain after we leave this mortal life on earth. This brings me great joy, and yes I want to believe it to be true as you rightly pointed out. On exploring the evidence and reading the Bible I have found a new confidence that this beautiful story is true, and many much wiser and intelligent people before me and still today have come to the same conclusion. I tell you this my friend, it is better than the athiestic alternative world view by a long way, it doesn't compare does it, athiesm has no hope, no real justice and believes in a world that came from nothing and we are all just evolving atoms. This has no ring of reality or truth in it. Jesus Christ changed and left His mark on this world like no other before Him or since Him, because He is the Son of God as part of the Holy Trinity, and He created it! There is remarkable design in Creation that screams of a Creator, enough evidence in itself for a supernatural Creator behind it. Look around you, you see it everywhere and you are an amazingly designed part of it yourself too. Believe or don't believe is the choice we are left with and I am deeply grateful that I have my faith. Its a beautiful and wondrous thing, you should try it sometime my friend. God bless.

Wait a minute. We are each created in God's image but we are not 'good by nature?' (06:50) How can that be? Why aren't we each created 'good by nature' with only the option of sinning, rather than having been created in God's image but created 'bad by nature' and then trying to find ways to overcome that 'badness' or needing something to be added to overcome that 'badness?' It seems God (of Christianity) chooses to create us with a moral nature but then also chooses to create us 'bad' by nature with the initial inclination to be bad/do bad/think bad. So said God has to add something to the human but only IF they seek it. Why not create us 'good by nature' then give us the free will to do wrong if we seek to do wrong? While much of the Christian doctrine is beneficial...ie much of what Christ admonished would make for a better world. What would make an even better world would be if all humans were born with a good nature but with the option of seeking and choosing wrong if they wanted to.

A strong case can be made that most people (and cultures) put a value on human flourishing is a result of evolution by natural selection-both through the mechanisms of genetics and social structures. These social structures can often include religious characteristics. But one can place high value on human flourishing without any religious dogma to support it. So while I applaud Dr. Lennox’s focus on human flourishing, I disagree that it can only arise from religious belief.

I love listening to Dr Lennox but as a believing seventh day adventist thoroughly disagree with his sabbath understanding. Jesus's said he was Lord of the sabbath and Hebrews 4:9 refers to a literal sabbath keeping (Sabbitismos) as shadow of the heavenly rest we will experience. Faith is seen by obedience and Jesus never broke the sabbath as he was accused of doing. So to make the sabbath whatever day you want is to make yourself God.
