Definitely want to see more videos on ace TikTok. As a male cisgender heteroromantic asexual I have a lot of very complicated intersectionality with my ace identity. There’s a lot of imposter syndrome, insecurity, etc. Can’t even imagine how bad it would be for people with a less accepting family or a father figure who bought into more of the harmful masculine ideas in our culture. Btw, I’ve constantly heard validation for asexuals who have sex, but oddly not nearly as much validation for aces who don’t-and even less for those who don’t and still want a monogamous relationship.

I'd agree with basically everything here! I'd only say that some cishet asexual folks don't want to be classified as part of the LGBTQ community and I think that's perfectly valid too. That's it. My understanding is that a sex-favorable (sex-positive) person has positive feelings about sex and sexual experiences. They enjoy it, have fun with it, maybe are down to try a lot of things, and maybe even seek it out frequently. Kind of like a hobby or activity that they enjoy doing with other people, regardless of whether or not they feel any sexual attraction to the person that they have sex with. Sex-neutral people have indifferent feelings to sex. They can take it or leave it. They aren't repulsed by sex. They probably won't seek it out, but if asked to have sex and aren't particularly busy and trust the person etc, then they will probably agree to have sex. It would be like a hobby that you do with your partner that is not your favorite hobby but you also don't hate it and since your partner likes it, then you want to do it with them sometimes to make them happy and it brings you closer together.
