You should have watched the song "Rule of nines" live. She does it in the studio and her technique is amazing! Asia will flip seeing her go from her breathy, quiet and sweet singing into the growl vocals!

They are very versatile & she is a vocal machine 😂 not much more needs to be said. Most of their tracks are 🔥 usually. I'd recommend "Perennial" as an underrated gem including the music video (which is a whole vibe in itself). Would also throw another band suggestion: Fire From the Gods - Excuse me. Very versatile band in a different sense though 👍😉

From a lifelong metal fan, 23 years and having been to close to 2000 shows, Spiritbox and Jinjer are two of the best metal bands in the world. You guys have excellent taste in metal, I think Asia and BJ have qualified as metal/rock fans for quite a while, and they have impeccable taste. I know ‘non-metal fans’, and they don’t react as positively to quality metal. Talent appreciates talent.

The lead singer is Courtney LaPlante, even tho Spiritbox has only been together since 2017, they are not new to the game. Courtney and the guitarist Mike Stinger are a married couple and also played together in the band iwrestledabearonce. Courtney was also in a band called Unicron that formed in 2008. They are horror genre fans and up until this song most of their content had some sort of reference to it. I did find that was pretty neat but obviously they are too talented to confine themselves to such niche subject matter. I really think the sky is the limit for this band and can't wait to hear the new album they are working on.

“Blessed Be” would be worthy of commenting on as well as “Secret Garden.” I really love Courtney’s voice. It has many of the qualities of Amy Lee, though Courtney is an alto. But her scream is uniquely her, and it’s just awesome. The band is quite good as well. Great musicality.

Courtney LaPlante is her name. Her and the guitarist are married, and he wrote almost everything instrumentally for this band. If you are interested in more stuff like this of theirs, check out Blessed Be or Bleach Bath. If you want the heavier side of the band, check out Holy Roller or Hurt You. If you want their softer side of songs, Secret Garden or Constance are the go to. Their catalogue is incredibly diverse.
