To elaborate, Michael Moorcock has always been a massive fanboy for Robert E Howard and his work, the reason Elric of Meliboné is the way it is stems from his editor asking him to make something Conan-like, Michael understanding what makes Robert's work tick, he made an absolute opposite of Conan the Cimmerian, not out of disdain but out of knowing the elements of what makes Conan's stories good and twist them to create something new. Moorcock moved to Texas to be closer to Robert E Howard's birth town. Sotek could easily phone him and talk to the man himself if his health allows him for it

Despite saying that you read the chat at the beginning of the stream, you've spent almost the entirety of it only reading donations and superchats (sometimes made by the same person) skipping some interesting questions that were asked in normal chat and causing you to rush through the donation messages mid way through the stream. That seems a bit unfair to the people that can't afford to donate, and gives off the impression that people who do are privileged although I know this is not your intention. My feedback would be to better prepare the livestream and the time allocated to answer questions from donations VS questions from the chat so to provide a better experience for everyone. Love your content otherwise, cheers!

I mean they wouldn't bother doing these streams if they weren't profitable. They'll always prioritize the people giving them money because you know, money. It just is what it is unfortunately. There are no other Warhammer fantasy focused lore channels of this prominence out on KZbin so they have the monopoly and it makes sense they'll try to profit off of it as much as possible. I mean their normal streams are seemingly half reading monetized comments and barely scraping through the actual subject they said they'd be discussing.

Andy, gou say magic does not play to someone's sex. I recall you also stating that the reason why Bretonnia and Kislev have only female magic users is because males are more prone to losing control? It would seem not all is equal between the sexes when it comes to magic.

The comment about the Minusia of empires of the Warhammer reminds me of Ed Grennwood, of Forgotten Realms fame. That guy can wax poetic on trade routes and tariffs in the realms for ever.
