A woman (18:15) is so ignorant. When you meet person like this (Who is pretending to know.), ask them questions (Instead of giving them answers) and, watch him/her fall a part. She says, "lots of people die for what they have claim to seen," yet, can't give one example.
@ImCeeJH3 жыл бұрын
Lots of people probably did die for what they claimed to have seen… but did they die for what they claimed to have seen knowing it was a bold face lie. No. That doesn’t happen. The woman you’re referring to doesn’t like references and evidence because she doesn’t like God. So instead she will do whatever she can to argue and prove that God doesn’t exist. It’s actually absurd people will argue and spend their time trying to disprove something they believe whole heartedly is a fairytale. The man in the white was even more ignorant. How does he think the documents written by Matthew , mark, Luke, and John are second hand documents? What does he want. Mark, John, Luke, and Matthew to video tape themselves in the first century? Does he expect them to live 2000 years to continue to tell their story? This is why it was written. This is what happens. No matter what evidence they gain it will never be enough because they love the creation more than the creator.

If that is the case are you saying the people in the list above had no evidence for their cause and had blind faith? Why would someone believe anything if they didn’t Think they have evidence for it? If that is not what you are saying I would like to better understand your thoughts
@warriorforgod59493 жыл бұрын
@@2DayDavid People can give their life for what they believe (Blind faith or not.). A difference is, would people die for a lie? Answer will be no. Some people will lie, deny the truth, just to live.; and there are people who die for the truth. key words are, "Eye witnesses." Let say, you are an eye witness, would you give your life and die for a lie? Pastor Cliffe (A speaker.) is making a point that disciples are eye witnesses. Who gave their life for the Truth(When they could of walked away live their life.), chose death for speaking the Truth (because, they saw.) "If that is the case are you saying the people in the list above had no evidence for their cause and had blind faith?" Let say they died for the evidence. Then, that is exactly proving pastor Cliffe's pointer view. Disciples are eye witnesses with evidences (They saw) that, gave their life for the Truth.

If you tell a man that God is demanding no good works of him whatsoever, no religious observances or church ordinances, that God is not asking him to undertake any duties at all, but that God invites him to believe a glad message that his sins have already been dealt with at the Cross, and that God expects him to believe this good news and be exceedingly happy about it. If you tell an unsaved man such a story at this, he is astonished and overwhelmed-yet this is the Gospel! Our Apostle, Paul, reveals the following great doctrines; 1. The unrighteousness before God of all men. 2. The impossibility of justification by works before God- that is, of any man’s attaining a standing of righteousness before God by anything done by him. Do what a man may, he is a condemned sinner still. 3. The fact and the Scripturalness of righteousness on the free gift principle-that is, of Divine righteousness, separate from all man’s doings, conferred upon man as a free gift from God. 4. Propitiation-that satisfaction of God’s Holy Nature and law for man’s sins rendered by Christ’s blood. 5. Reconciliation-the removal by Christ’s death for man of that obstacle to righteousness which man’s sin had set up between God and man. 6. The plan of the actual conferring of the gift of righteousness upon all who believe, without any distinction. This change of a sinner’s standing before God, from one of condemnation to one of righteousness, is called Justification. Negatively, it is deliverance from guilt on account of Christ’s shed blood and deliverance out of the old creation by identification in death with Christ on the Cross. Positively, it is a new standing in the risen Christ before God. 7. Redemption-the buying back of the soul through the blood of Christ from sin; from the curse of the law-even death, involving exclusion from God under penalty; from the "power of death," which involves the hand of the enemy; and from all iniquity. 8. Forgiveness-the going forth of Divine tenderness in remitting the penalty for sin in view of the blood of Christ trusted in, and in complacency and fellowship to creatures who before were necessarily under Divine judgment. 9. Remission of sins-that is, the actual removing of transgressions or trespasses from the sinner, so that for all time and eternity his sins shall not again be upon him. 10. Identification-(see above, Justification). The great fact that those who are in Christ were united with Him at the Cross by God’s sovereign inscrutable act and were crucified with Christ and buried with Him, so that their history is now ended before God. And when Christ was raised up as the Firstborn of the new creation, they also were raised up with Him and their history began as new creatures in God’s sight in Christ, the Last Adam. Of course, in the experience of the Christian there comes a time when he is actually made partaker of this new life-that point of time when he is, as we say, saved, or converted, or born again, etc. Nevertheless, the life that is in every Christian came up out of the Tomb, and it is in Christ Jesus that a man is created anew. 11. Incorporation-This tremendous doctrine Paul alone mentions, and he makes it practically the foundation of all his exhortations to the saints with regard to their conduct and life. By "incorporation" we mean the fact that all those who are really saved and are new creatures in Christ Jesus become members of one organism (called "the Body of Christ"), which is more real than the very earth we tread upon-Christ Himself in Heaven being the Head of this Body and every real Christian a member of it. So that believers are thus members of Christ in Heaven and also members one of another here on earth. No wonder Paul is able to exhort the saints to love one another when they are members one of another! (Rom. 12; 1 Cor. 12; Eph. 4). 12. Inhabitation-The wonderful fact that the Body of Christ and each member of it individually is inhabited, indwelt, by the Holy Spirit Himself, and not only so, but that the Church is being "built together" as a great temple of God so that in the future God’s actual eternal dwelling place will be this wonderful, mysterious company built into a building called "a holy habitation of God in the Spirit." This mystery is a great and marvelous one-the fact that we are saved, are partakers now of the life of the Lord in glory, that the Holy Spirit indwells us. 13. Divine Exhibition-That is, that through the Church in the ages to come is to be made known that which God counts His "riches," even His Grace (Eph. 2:7,3:10). Paul in his wonderful revelation declares that God hath reconciled the world to Himself; that God was in Christ (at the Cross) reconciling the world unto Himself (2 Cor. 5:19). Men do not know this, but they conceive that something stands between them and God before God will accept or forgive them. 2 Corinthians 11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtilty, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ. Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; Colossians 2:12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. 13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses; 14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; 1 Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: 1 Timothy 3: And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. To be able to experience moral compunction so you can turn back to God, please hear Him speak to you, by hearing Him speak to you in Romans 1:18-3:20 Romans 1:18-3:20 classic.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=rom.+1%3A18-3%3A20&version=KJV

@@jrc99us Tell me how long after Jesus died ( do we know the exact date of his crucifixion)? did Josephus write about Jesus? .. you do know that Josephus was an expert historian on the history of the Jews.. that said, he wrote masses of literature on Jewish antitquities, the stuff he wrote about Jesus could be written on the back of a bus ticket. Many biblical scholars believe that the things he wrote about Jesus was a much later interpolation by Christian scholars trying to shoe horn Jesus into the history books. jrc, did *anyone* write about Jesus *during* the time he was performing all those miracles?, name me one person.

@@bonnie43uk if you have been on this channel for the last 10 years you KNOW the answer to that. 🤨🤨🤨
@bonnie43uk3 жыл бұрын
@@jrc99us The answer is *nobody* wrote about Jesus *during* the time he was supposedly performing incredible miracles. That should ring alarm bells for anyone seeking the truth. We're told that Jesus performed feats and wonders of supernatural miracles in front of thousands of people, over and over, all over 1st century Judea, yet *nobody* thought of writing it down as it happened until at least a decade after??? That stretches credibility to the limit. John's gospel was written decades and decades after the supposed events, I dont think there are *any* Christian scholars to the best of my knowledge who say these Gospel accounts were written as and when they occurred in real-time. I've kept a diary for the past 20 years, I keep a daily record of my life and the things that happen in the news that interest me.. it would be impossible for me not to write down significant events *on the day they occurred* .. the thought of writing about what happened on 9/11 for at least a decade or more would be insane. Yesterday I wrote about the Taliban entering the outskirts of Kabul and the prospect of people in Afghanistan almost certainly having to live under extreme Islamic rule. What were Matthew Mark Luke and John writing about when they witnessed the so called Son of God coming back to life after being crucified? .. would that be a noteworthy thing to write down? I'd have thought so jrc, I'd have certainly written down the exact day, month and year. I can tell you my exact movements on any given day for the last 20 years or more. As an ex Christian, realizing that this Jesus person was almost certainly not the person that the Gospel writers wrote about, that's a huge deal for me. Cliffe states in virtually every video to "read the gospels, read the literary style" .. I have, over and over, and they read to me like story prose, not actual events in time. When I write something down of significance i would never include actual back and forth sentences that people have spoken to eachother, that's a well proven literary style of someone writing a story. "And lo, Jesus said unto them..." And it came to pass etc. Can you see where I'm coming from jrc?

This position is and always has been a garbage appeal to bias. Asking if we are merely physical parts is like asking if the Mona Lisa is just oil and canvas. The technical answer to both of these is yes, and believers seem to think this means we don't have value as people or values as thinking beings. Let me put this to rest for any honest mind. The value of a given system, ethically speaking, is unrelated to its component parts, and completely dependent on the emergent properties those parts produce. If I make a robot of plastic and metal, that has the full emotional spectrum, I have an ethical obligation to that robot, just as I would to any organic living system. Origins have nothing to do with the value of a life. This is one of the many ethical failures encouraged by stupid, vile, destructive religions, like christianity.
@JakeAdkinsOfficial3 жыл бұрын
Based on your description, you assigned value to something subjectively based on your interpretation of its properties. In doing so, you have defended a subjective morality, which is a collapsible argument. For example, if someone is born with an emotional deficiency and entirely rational, or if someone is intellectually disabled, they become less valuable. You can't arbitrarily decide on an ethical standard for assigning value. It's not logically coherent. What are your thoughts on this? I am also wondering why you chose to close your argument with distasteful closing remarks? Why are you trying to insult, ridicule, and belittle the people you are speaking to? Do you find that ethically correct?
@theoskeptomai25353 жыл бұрын
@@JakeAdkinsOfficial Objective moral _values?_ Do you have any clue as to the meaning of valuation. Value represents the _relative_ worth, merit, or importance by the individual or party composing the evaluation. Valuations are _never_ objective. They are always subjective to the individual _evaluating._ Morality is the process of differentiating between intentions, decisions, and actions that are appropriate from those inappropriate. Each and every individual is the sole arbiter of his/her own morality. Likewise, each and every individual is soley responsible, accountable, and culpable for the intentions, decisions, and actions based upon those moral assessments. Would you agree?
