How refreshing to see someone who is one year younger than my nephew, preparing for evangelism. My nephew is not only an unbeliever, he is in love with the things of this world, and now suffering in his college studies because he’s making good money on from his KZbin channel. 🤦‍♀️ My poor sister and BIL already spent well over 100,000 on this kid’s education. A loving God, has to leave plenty of evidence and he has in every category; pointing to the Bible being true! When you use apologetic arguments you’re showing them that they will have no excuse on judgment day since they have no excuse now to turn & repent to Jesus!

Sometimes saying less is saying more. Not all the time. But sometimes. I live in New Zealand. And one time a visiting preacher came to preach to us. This gentleman was from the USA. And as we sat back getting ready to hear his message he came to the microphone and started to speak. But he spoke only one sentence and then sat down. And though we were naturally disappointed, expecting more than his few words, we never forgot what he said. He said the purpose of this life is to make sure we get Everlasting life.

@@leemanwrong happy to be corrected bruce, just reading up online, it says people first arrived from Polynesia around 13th century, so that would be around 700/800 years ago, hundreds of years before white settlers arrived. I may have associated it with native Aboriginals who it seems were living on Australia for literally thousands of years. Either way, those early Māori's would have had zero knowledge of the Biblical God of the Bible.

Slavery could be carried out for three reasons in Middle Eastern culture of that time. 1) indebtedness 2). Conquered in battle 3) criminal punishment. God’s objective moral laws are found in Exodus 20:3-17, and Matthew 22:37-40,Matthew 5:44. Non of those laws given by God instituted slavery, nor do they condone slavery. “ God is NOT A MAN that He should lie, nor THE SON OF A MAN that He should repent.” Numbers 23:19. God is not a human being like you or I so calling Him a hypocrite or liar won’t stick. It will stick when dealing with you and me, but not God. They started out by saying that people have a conscience and Cliff asked where does the conscience come from, they said chemical reactions in the brain. Of course we know that’s erroneous and that’s why they got quiet. I am glad they got quiet because they were beginning to listen. I taught school for 23 years and students didn’t begin to learn until they shut up and started listening.

A BIG thing Christians don’t know but should know is why God made and allows evil. I’ve dived deep into this question and in summary, God created evil so His goodness may clearly pop out against an evil background… so that those who know and feel evil but despise it and choose good will come to learn a more impactful lesson in just how good goodness (God) really is. Like the child who must burn his hand to learn fire is bad to touch..and so learns that air is good to touch and will choose air with that much more conviction. He also allows evil on earth to keep His followers in line.. to make the proud fearful and make the faithful confident… example God allowed the Jews to be overpowered and exiled into Babylon because they worshipped false gods. He also made Pharaoh’s heart harden with evil so He could show His power with plagues until there was no doubt in Pharaoh’s mind that God is all powerful. As Scripture says “The Lord has made everything for its purpose, even the wicked for the day of trouble.” ‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭16‬:‭4‬ ‭

People jump to "Society defines what's good." so often. They only value the concepts of justice, liberty, and goodness because of living in Western society. Yet they are so sure and resolute in their opinions on the matter. They only have this mindset that's against traditional Western values because it allowed them the freedom to develop such. It all comes from a Christian heritage that encouraged love. They twist all of Christianity into perversion and then say it doesn't work. There's no doubt that Christianity does contain some good values that are worth respecting and holding on to, kindness and forgiveness are things that I adhere to. But they are not exclusive to Christianity, many other cultures and belief systems preach the same values.

😁 Greetings family! Remember, if you have any doubts, It's not hard to believe in God and to read, study and meditate on the holy bible. It's not even hard to obey all 27 books of the new testament maybe except for one, two, even three commandments. First one being not to lie especially to protect your own or anothers life, second one being giving to those who ask of of us and to not ask for our things back if someone takes it (Luke 6:30) and third selling what we have and giving to the poor (Luke 12:33). I'll even add a fourth one which is to let God do the vengeance. I don't know if a Christian can practice self-defense as I do not see anyone in the new testament actually doing that and they had power from the Holy Spirit of YAH but, instead they accepted pain and death. luckily for me I gave up everything for the new covenant with God Yah's help!

So Adam & Eve's original sin caused the world to fall, right? That's because the their sin was the cause and falling the world was the effect, right? Cause & effect, because the world was designed to happen that way. God designed and created that (cause & effect) to happen that way and that's why it happened that way, right? In fact, angels sinned and fell out of heaven but that didn't cause the world to fall. Yet Adam & Eve's caused it to happen. Precisely, that how God designed and created that way. The idea that man told God to "take a hike", then chaos erupted is surely absurd. It bears no resemblance to reality. If this God existed, his knowledge would far exceed our knowledge, if he was omniscient and all loving, then he would have foreseen the chaos and ensured it was prevented. It's akin to a loving parent giving his 3 year old toddler total free will, and that child walks onto a busy freeway into heavy traffic, no loving parent would do that knowing the consequences. The creation myth in Genesis is simply a story invented by mankind to try and explain all the pain and suffering we endure, for it's day, it's quite a good story, but as time has gone on, we've found better answers as to why things are the way they are.
