Someone once said if you really want to know the true name of Yeshua bin Yousef, you should really dig into where he was and what he was doing between 13 - 3 0 years of age, which amounts to 18 years out of 33 years of his life. Meaning how is it possible that they have no such record when he is such a bigger-than-life individual who supposedly had the greatest impact in human history? ... hmm. was it by design or is the record missing? Please advise!

This verse says to dissolve all reliance upon erroneous material beliefs about God and sit in the Wisdom of Infinite, Omnipresent Awareness(God Consciousness) that you truly are!! Human wisdom would have you worship a man named Jesus even after being told time and time again not to do it! What is Christ? The same as The Father Within, I Am, Friend, etc.. Consciousness/Spirit/God Expressing, Individualizing, Identifying itself as You, as Me, as All. This is the "me," the "I" we are invited to accept, recognize, and believe in. We are being asked to be aware of the One "I" as the Identity of each of us. This is the Christ to whom the greater works are promised. Greater works are not promised to that which identifies as human/matter/form! Immortality is birthed in us when we come to the conscious realization that Spirit(Divine Consciousness/God)is the Only Presence. It is a pure, unsullied moment of Illumination. It is a virginal preparedness for the highly receptive, intuitive readiness for the Absolute Truth. It is an impeccable Mystical insight into our True Spiritual Nature. The Birth of Our Infinite State of Being as the Activity of Truth in Our Consciousness.....! Spiritual Awareness teaches from a different level that the human intellect is not prepared to receive, and this is why the bible has been accepted as a Religious document and then worshipped as such! I met a man and his wife not long after becoming born again, back in 1987. These were very zealous believers who had a small print shop in Auckland New Zealand where Christian tracts were readily available to their customers. On one occasion I said to the man’s wife that it’s great to be a Christian. To which she replied, yes it’s either heaven or hell. This was a revelation to me as heaven and hell wasn’t on my radar. Because I had become a believer to please God and wasn’t particularly aware of salvation. The man told me his story and as best as I recollect it this is how it goes. Apparently a family member of his had become a believer and he was determined to get them out of this crazy Christian cult. And he made it his zealous mission in life to prove that the prophesies in the Bible were nothing more than a just a bunch of junk. However this was an honest man. And when he realised that they were indeed true, instead of spitting the dummy, both he and his wife became zealous Christians. And the zeal he employed to disprove the Bible he now used to tell others of the good news. I’ll never forget these two people and I’m grateful to have known them, because their zeal helped me to become established in the faith of my Lord Jesus Christ. In a way they were like the apostle Paul. They went from being fiercely opposed to the gospel to fighting the good fight for Jesus Christ, with a zeal rarely seen. I’ll never forget them. Invariably we don’t know of the full effects we are having upon others as we witness for Jesus Christ. But provided we don’t hide our light God can do an effectual work through us. Johnny Appleseed born in 1774 planted apple trees for weary pioneers to eat from, but never saw them eat his apples. And it’s unlikely that we who sow God’s precious seed will see much of the fruits of our success. But like Johnny this doesn’t deter us, because we keep on witnessing. We witness with the hope of heading souls in the direction of Jesus Christ. But also we witness to not be overcome, because the world will overcome us if we hide our light. Rev 12:11 KJV And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. And though I might be able to motivate you to increase your witnessing nevertheless I’ll never know about it. And you in turn with your good example will get others to do the same,though you might never know of your good influence. Witnessing is an art that can only improve with practice. We start off feebly, blowing it, making mistakes, sometimes feeling like chickens, but if we keep trying we will eventually amaze ourselves with the God given abilities He gives us. Jesus promises to make us fishers of men but we have to try and try and keep trying and He will make us great soul winners. It won’t happen overnight but it will happen. It’s a promise from the Lord. Go for it. Try try try. And it’s the least we can do for our Saviour who has done so much for us. However God in His generous mercy has a reward for us that Daniel speaks of. Daniel 12:3 KJV And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

I actually think the trinity is one of the best arguments for Christianity being true. God the father is an infinite being outside time and space which logically means he cannot directly interact with the finite world so God, the father must have a finite representation of himself that created the finite world and can interact with it. This is God's word, Jesus Christ. Without God, the father and God, the son, Christian does not make sense. You must have an infinite and finite representation of God to be all powerful, yet interactive the finite world. To be clear, I'm not calling Jesus Christ finite like the finite world because he existed before time and space. He created time and space.

@TheServant-20242 ай бұрын
Hello, I totally agree that God The Father is an eternal infinite being, but that also applies to The Son, as well as the Holy Spirit. To say that Jesus was God The Father's physical representation of himself to the earth, is to assume Jesus(who is The Son) was created. I assume you're a modalist so this is being spoken as an assertion rather than a possibility. But Trinitarians believe(which was taught by the apostles and the early church fathers) That The Father, The Son, and The Hoy Spirit all agree as 1 God, and The Son(Jesus), chose to become a man, and submit to his father's will(as a Human(Who still is God but not fully glorified because he is limited by human attributes), because in his natural state there is no submissiveness, because all three are equally God in full glory). The Trinity is The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit who all agree as One Eternal Being(1 God), who works together in perfect union, and companionship loving one another, which means they don't do anything without each other, in perfect harmony. That is why God told Moses to tell the Israelites that his name is I AM(YHWH) Because he is who he is and that is The trinity. Yes Jesus is The Word(The greek word is Logos), not implying that he is The Fathers physical word, but that he is the Word Of God, for example when you speak your words are revealing something about you, so it's in the sense that The Son(Jesus, The Word) revealed things about God, because he is God and He's the only one who first handily knows what God The Father and The Holy Spirit is like, So he's the Word, the revealing, of God, not The Father's physical Word. John 1 states that In the beginning was The Word and The Word was WITH God, and The World was God. By your logic if Jesus was just physical Word of The Father, how can The Father's Words be already with him, in his presence with him before He actually spoke? I hope this helps and this is just what is revealed to us, we definite as cliff said have not figured out totally God, but by what he revealed to us we can APPREHEND him but not fully COMPREHEND him.

@TheServant-20242 ай бұрын
@@rboycuts I very much agree that God can present himself however he likes and can do whatever pleases him, but You just put God in a box not in a way that you said how he can present himself but about how the One True God , has revealed himself as three distinct persons even before Creation, Also , Jesus himself said be baptized and go and baptize in the Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit, so either the world gets confused by that simple saying which is a commandment, or Jesus outright lied which is implausible and even blasphemous to think of, but In humility If I got baptized in the Name of Jesus Christ I would I have to repent(not because I’m trying to intentionally disrespect his saying but because I’m being baptized in the name that I think only matters when that contradicts him) , Have a good one brother, may The Lord bless you in all his ways!

Its very hard or impossible for us to fully comprehend 3 being in 1, this is where faith comes in. To trust God and not to try to figure him out. Its tempting and im sure we all go thru this at some point. Its beyond our knowing unless the Lord give us the capability to comprehend it. As finite beings we have to learn to trust, believe and have faith; just like little children trust their parents/guardian. Have the time they dont understand or know but they trust. Trust has to build and show to be trustworthy. Our Lord wants to do that with us.

I seem to go through a process of: -Everything is God's, trust God's plan, my life is his -Lose motivation, start sinning more frequently -Stop reading Bible -Question God's Love (as in, He doesnt love me) -Read the Bible -Back to the start Like most of this process is where Im not trusting God. I want to be a motivated Christian all the time

I’d recommend pressing more deeply into prayer, we all sin, no matter how deep we follow Christ’s teaching. The main point is you keep getting back on track, as long as you have Christ as your center then your good to go, whenever I doubt? I pray & keep the Bible close, it may not be for you, but I also have some other applications I use to look at daily Bible verses and that helps me out a lot too. Whenever I feel like I’ve really messed up I always go back to the verses I’ve saved up and remind myself of the whole point of the struggle. The purpose. Hope this could help a little!

At the end he says "God can't be man because man is imperfect." But he still hasn't defined perfect. If by perfect he means "sinless" thrn he must not realize that humanity WAS sinless.... before they sinned. And Jesus is sinless... until He became our sin to put it to death.

I think it’s beneficial to show in the Old Testament “the word” presented himself as a physical being/man. There are plenty of examples of the word being worshipped and reffered to as God, and the word speaking with God in heaven. This helps people to understand the nature of God. This Word became a human being, we know him as Jesus Christ.

1 God 3 Persons 1 God = Divine Nature 3 Persons = The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit. The 3 Persons has the Divine Nature. The Son took himself a Human Nature. Human Nature has limits. But The Son's Divine Nature is unchanged and untouched. NOT 1 God 1 person having 3 forms, parts or modes.❌ = Modelism is 1 God having different parts or modes of the 1 person. NOT 3 Gods 3 separate persons ❌ = Polytheism is belief in many Gods. The Trinity is only 1 God 3 Distinct Persons not separate, not parts or not modes ✅ = 3 Distinct Persons in 1 Godhead meaning the Divine Essence, the Divine Nature, all 3 Persons possess the Divinity of the Godhead, Thats why we call God " The Triune God " NOT parts of god or gods. When Cliffe says Jesus is limited, he meant on his human nature he is limited but in his Divine nature he is not limited. When Cliffe says God limits his power, in the Christian Faith God is Love, when you love someone you do not force and you " Will " to work for others good. Love is not a feeling. Thats why we know when Jesus says " Love your enemies ". Its a will, a choice not a feeling that you have. That means God knows that we are not perfect and he choose to be patient and work through our human nature's limits. The Cause is God The Creator, He is not limited. But the effects is the creation, we are limited. I hope this helps you 😊 The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit is distinct Persons not separate. Its like this, we are living in 1 Space but 3 dimensions (Horizontal,Vertical and the Depth) we can distinctly know which one is which, but if we separate one of those dimensions and we will have no more space anymore. If you wanna know something about Christian Faith, you must look at what the Christian Faith Believes, not forcing your beliefs in the Christian Faith and in the Bible. Look at the Christian lens not other lens of beliefs. All analogy fall short because we are talking about God, but I think you can have an idea on why we say 1 God 3 Persons. God gave us Revelation about Him. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm saying that the Revelation of God is right🙏

@@T32059 we don’t confuse the 3 persons. The Father is not the Son or the Holy Spirit, they are 3 distinct Persons, they are not the same Person but they are the same in divinity or divine nature. Only God possess Divinity. Thats why we say 1 God 3 Persons. The Father is eternal, The Father eternally begotten The Son, means the Son is eternal. The Holy Spirit is eternally proceeds from The Father, means The Holy Spirit is eternal. 3 distinct Persons 1 Divinity 1 God. Eternal means outside of creation, the Universe contains time, space, energy and matter. God is outside the creation. Jesus said in Revelation 22:13 "I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.” nothing comes before the First and nothing comes after the Last. Jesus is saying He is outside of the creation. Outside of Time and Space. No beginning no End, He is the Beginner of all things, without Him nothing was made. John 1 verse 3 All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him not even one thing came into being that has come into being. I hope this helps my Brother or Sister in Christ.🙏

@@believer777-w6s When they said in Hebrews 13:8 "Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever." or in Revelation 22:13 " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end. It is not saying that there is only 1 person. Christ means Messiah meaning = Jesus is the Messiah the Anoited one, a Redeemer and who is a King and Divine. The holy Spirit is the Helper, Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor, Counselor, Strengthener and applies Redemption to believers. The Father is the Source, Ruler, and Preserver of ALL Things. Examples of the descriptions of the Trinity Genesis 1 verse 26 Then God said, “Let Us make mankind in Our image, according to Our likeness". Mark 12 verse 29 Jesus answered, “The foremost is, ‘Hear, Israel! The Lord is our God, the Lord is one; and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ John 17 verse 1 Jesus spoke these things; and raising His eyes to heaven, He said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify Your Son, so that the Son may glorify You, just as You gave Him authority over all mankind, so that to all whom You have given Him, He may give eternal life. And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent. Genesis 15 verse 1 After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision, saying, “Do not fear, Abram, I am a shield to you; Your reward shall be very great.” But Abram said, “Lord God, what will You give me, since I am childless, and the heir of my house is Eliezer of Damascus?” John 1 verse 1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. John 1 verse 14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us; and we saw His glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. John 1 verse 17 For the Law was given through Moses; grace and truth were realized through Jesus Christ. Exodus 3 verse 13 Then Moses said to God, “Behold, I am going to the sons of Israel, and I will say to them, ‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you.’ Now they may say to me, ‘What is His name?’ What shall I say to them?” And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”; and He said, “This is what you shall say to the sons of Israel: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’ ” John 8 verse 58 Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am.” John 14 verse 15 " I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, so that He may be with you forever; the Helper is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him; but you know Him because He remains with you and will be in you. " Acts 5 verse 3 But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back some of the proceeds of the land? While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not under your control? Why is it that you have conceived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.” Matthew 28 verse 18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” and read Genesis 18 when Abraham saw 3 Men calling them " My Lord " not " Lords ". There are many more but these are the examples of how we know 1 God 3 distinct Persons. You need to take all the teachings about God in the bible and don't take away some parts and pick the one that you want or like about God, take Everything and ALL that was written about God and see what comes out of it , it is the TRINITY. 1 God 3 distinct Persons. I'm not saying I'm right, I'm saying that the scriptures or the bible is right, telling us that 1 God 3 distinct Persons in the Trinity. When people say God limited his power, that doesn't mean he got rid of his power but LIMITED his power, meaning that he's CHOOSING not to use all of his power but SOME. He still has his power but only chooses to use some. its like choosing to use only one arm when fighting to handicap yourself. You don't just lose your arm, no you have it behind your back and are not using it. That's limiting yourself and if we as humans can limit ourselves in different ways then how can an all powerful God not do the same?

I understand what you're saying, but you're kind of wrong. Jesus said that the miracles he was doing were through the power of God, not power he had himself. Same thing with us and the Holy Spirit. That's why the angels asked Jesus if he wanted them to save him and destroy humanity. Because in his human form, Jesus himself didn't have the power to save him. Only through the power of God.

I'm not sure I've ever heard a student ask better questions and have a better reasoning for asking. I'm a Christian and I believe we have to do better at answering these questions. We can't just contradict ourselves and call the lack of reconciliation a mystery. If by "persons" we mean "centers of consciousness" then that would make 3 distinct Gods. But if there is 1 "center of consciousness" between all three "persons" or "manifestations" or "representations" then that would constitute 1 God.

Cliff did great job answering the young man’s questions but the guy was not there to have conversation and understand cliff’s point of view rather he was there to argue. God is Sprit which means he can’t die. To take our place and die on a cross he had to prepare himself a flesh which was free from Mary’s ( person God used to provide a womb) blood. Now if if you understand science, when babies are in a mother’s womb, babies blood and the mother’s blood don’t mix, mother just provide nutrition through placenta! Once the flesh that God prepared for himself God delivered (Jesus was born) God came into that flesh. That’s why Jesus is fully human and fully God!

When I was an atheist, I thought similarly. If God is perfect and man is imperfect, how can one being be fully human and fully God at the same time? I said: after all, plus and minus equal minus! I did not understand that if God is perfect and decided to take on human nature, he thereby caused the man he incarnated into to be perfect AS A HUMAN. That is why Scripture says that Christ was "like us in all things except sin". How can one be like us in all things except sin? It is possible, if one considers that there is virtually no sphere of life that God did not create as good, and "sin" is always some distortion and/or deficiency of that sphere. This applies to humor, it applies to food, it applies to interpersonal relationships, it applies to sexuality, etc. Therefore, Jesus is fully God and fully human, showing in a sharp way that a human being, by design and ultimately, is also created for perfection. That it is possible. But it is not the case that each of us is Christ. Or that anyone can become Christ - although Jesus taught that every well-taught disciple will equal the master. And we must bear in mind that striving for this perfection is possible by being obedient to God's will and listening to it, and this will was expressed in the most faithful and necessary way for us by Christ. Jesus and the Father "are one" in a full, volitional, spiritual and intellectual way. Jesus must have been fully aware that He unites human and divine nature in a unique way, otherwise He would not have uttered words that sound as if they flowed from an inflated ego, and on the other hand He would not have uttered such beautiful, moral teachings. He said that only He is the way to the Father. He said that His disciple cannot surpass Him, so He simply realized that He cannot be surpassed, that He alone is at the top, He is God. And that is why He can save us. And that is why he spoke so much in parables, as if to bring us closer with such hints that can be assimilated by us, that can feed us gradually throughout our lives. Jesus gradated the image of Truth in this gradual way, because he knew that showing it in its Fullness would be deadly to man, just as seeing God face to face can end in shock and death. That is why he told the apostles that they could not bear much more, although he could still speak much more. And when we nourish ourselves with his word and example, in the awareness of the faith of salvation, we can abide in the teaching that lets us know the liberating truth. Because if we are already saved from sin and hell thanks to his death, then his teaching shows us the Truth that slowly liberates us also from ignorance and doubt. All this indicates that Jesus was certainly more than a great teacher or enlightened Master. We can equal him, but it is a gradual process and in the end for the whole of our lives, while he was the Fullness at the age of about 30.

A question to ask this young man would be how do "minds" or wills as he understands them operate outside of space and time. We operate under the understanding of time and space having a beginning, so God would have to exist before them, obviously not operating on laws that require them unless he chose to be subjected to those laws. He accepted god could limit his power by granting us a free will and not stopping evil, but not that god could limit his other aspects when taking the form of Christ.

I think, on the point that God "limits Himself", it might be worth looking at it as "He chooses not to exercise His unlimited power to allow us to have free will". When you say He "limits Himself", some people seem to take that as He "lowers Himself". He's never not God, right? He just chooses when and where to mete out His divine will, according to His good character.

When Jesus said I do not know the hour he meant it's not for him to declare. Just like Paul said he knows nothing except Jesus. That doesn't mean Paul doesn't know his name, his skin color etc. Also in revelations everyone on heaven and earth bows to Jesus so the trinity makes sense as they are all equal in nature.

One thing that I think gets lost in these conversations about God and Jesus, is his purpose. God sent his son in a humbled form not only to die for our sins but to give us a model way to live our lives in a relatable manner(the flesh). So when people bring up the scriptures about Jesus not knowing the exact time/day or in this case “why would Jesus pray to himself” this is Jesus showing us how we should approach situations in our lives with the limitations we have as people.
