I make 56k at age 32 . I’m a male . I have tons of credentials and it took me a while to just get to the 56k mark working in a hospital doing revenue and coding. A lot of these women are in Lala land when it comes to income. There’s a lot of educated and experienced men in the workforce but a lot of industries haven’t caught up with the inflation issue facing this country and the world.

I’m finally making 100k a year, but it’s taken 28 years in my career, and it costs me way more than it’s worth. I am 50, still single, and never home - I’m gone for two months at a time and home for a week or so before leaving again. Sometimes making the money just isn’t worth it. Love your videos. I'm 43 I was making 65 to 90 as a superintendent. I started my own company last year and first year in business I did 88k in business. I should go up from here but it depends on the economy which at the moment is not that great.

Im a male in my mid-30s and earning $120K a year in Healthcare. I am grateful however I do feel most of my younger years (20-30) was spent studying/training away without a social life, while my cohort was out partying and enjoying themselves. I don't regret my decisions but I can say money isn't everything and there are times when I wish I was in a field that was less demanding. I'd gladly would take a paycut for more piece of mind. Money ain't everything.

I want a woman who is interested in me, NOT in my money. I’m sure other high income men or men in general here can agree with me on this. Because when I can have any type of woman I want, why would I choose one who is obsessed with material possessions and my income instead of a woman who is easy going, loving, fun, etc. A woman who is like the one with 18 questions is none of those things in my book. I think she's trying to show women in the age that younger guys who watch her channel might be interested in dating themselves. BTW, I'm an old guy who used to practice divorce law...and women were always the same, they just had to settle to survive and often made their husbands miserable because they were miserable, often became stay at home alcoholics/prescription pill poppers/cheaters while husband is at work. You can capture a wild animal but you can't make it like the zoo.

In one of the videos she explained how she is picking up these girls/women. She basically told that she gets into dating apps with a man's profile but be upfront about what to expect. Because older or married women are mostly not on dating apps it would be difficult for her to get them onto videos like these. I understand that seeing a women's perspective that are not delusional and seen reality better is great but might be difficult for Courtney to get them for these videos I guess.

Money is heavily concentrated in Beverly Hills (only 32,000 population), NYC (Manhattan), Atlanta, Houston, and a few other urban areas in the U.S. The rest of America has very little millionaires.

I used to teach a course on Youth Culture. We spent a few weeks talking about emerging adulthood and expectations of students. Mostly female students in the class. The students were middle to upper middle class background. The women were asked by me in class similar questions from this video. The women were delusional just like here and many podcasts like Fresh and Fit or Whatever. They all wanted men who were over six feet tall, had six figure bank accounts, no older than five years above them, had a house, nice car, were fit (as in six pack abs), and had a very high income ($200-500 k per year). They also felt they could wait until age 40 to start a family. Their delusions had no bounds, but it is common as we see in the video.

When I recently got promoted, I looked up a video on how to negotiate a higher salary. The lady conducting the video mentioned that one major reason women get paid less is because they are less likely to negotiate their initial salary offer. Yet, men always seem to get the blame for women getting paid less. Just a food for thought.

Went through this exact situation with my female coworker, I received a good review and I asked for a promotion and a raise and I got it. My female coworker asked me about when should she ask for a raise and I told her if she got a good review (which she did) then she should ask, but she was hesitant. And I told her “that’s why men get paid more because we are not afraid to ask” and we both laughed but that put a spark in her and she got the courage to ask and she got a raise.

We gotta remember that these people are probably not getting much more than a shoutout in the description and maybe a small amount of money for doing this. They're just your average person. This is a great way to see the mindset of the average modern woman today, but it's easy to be critical of people over the internet. The girl working in financial services in this vid is in fact more likely to meet a man who makes shitloads of money just because of the men she meets in her day-to-day life; bankers (the people she deals with on a daily basis) are among the highest earning people which means for her personally it is a lot more realistic to meet a man who does make like 200 k than for let's say a teacher or a woman working in a retail job who will rarely come into contact with a man like that.

I would call myself an instrumentation engineer because my work focused on scientific instruments. I did my fair share of computing programming of automated instruments. I finished my career as a mid-level manager. If you work at the same place for 30 years, get good performance appraisals, and 2-5% salary increases then that can add up to a decent salary. Our salaries were kept be competitive with engineering salaries in the Northern California region. I think the biggest struggle I have is the desire of already being “finished”. I don’t want to work until until I’m 65. I want to retire early. How lucky I am to have met my wife in 2009. We had nothing to our names she was in school and I was working at a restaurant as a cook we were both in our early 20s. We grew together and kept building. I am the bread winner but at the same time we been through so much. She said that she expects to find a man with such an income because that's the people she works with and meets in her day-to-day life - that's just the people in her job (financial services). I will not get huffy about talking money on the first date if that is a big concern. Reality is that these women are describing a lifestyle for people have worked for decades to obtain - not something you get out the gate at 25. Income is equivalent to drive is not always the case, teachers and those in education or at volunteer organizations can be extremely driven, but the wages for their efforts rarely come close to matching up.

Here in Northern VA countless ladies have turned me down for my low income of only $90k. I have zero student debt because never went to uni. I'm too stupid also because I never went to uni. Super common here to see ladies with masters degrees working part time retail jobs with over $100k in debt.

This was a very interesting video. I really like to hear the discussion of a topic from different perspectives. It was very interesting to me how all of these women felt they had to contribute financially to have value in men’s eyes. Some of them came close to discussing the value of being a mother but they saw that as being an additional responsibility as opposed to a primary responsibility. The idea that a household today can’t be accomplished with one income is ridiculous. Expectations and desires are not being properly aligned with the reality of your circumstances (living within your means). It is much more important for the continuation of society to raise your children with proper moral, values and ethics than it is to get a new car every year or live in a nicer house. It can’t be argued that for children to learn to deal with real life issues would be of much greater value. The value of money as a tool and how to manage it for accomplishing a goal. How to cook, plumbing, hobbies, reading, organization, etc. I understand that the topic of this video was already ingrained in the minds of the guest so assumptions were made by them about discussion content.

Although I’m not sure if it would be weird if I ever met any of them after seeing them on these videos (I live in the same area). Im 37, unemployed, and never had a career because struggled to work with others and training/entry-level jobs don't exist. Getting into any career is very tough because companies don't want to train people anymore. If I didn't have my parents, I would have taken my life because the real world sucks for men.

One of the biggest problems that this mentality creates is that people in general have more to offer than just their salary. For the woman that said that a six figure salary shows that the person has ambition and drive. I'm sorry but it could show that but it is not a proper correlation. Someone that makes 30k could be really handy and know how to fix literally anything that breaks in the house, while your 120k dude depends on calling someone to fix something. And yes you can pay every time something goes wrong, but personally I think it's a failing as there are times when money just doesn't matter. Sometimes knowing skills beyond lifting up your wallet is 1000% more valuable. Not to mention that I personally know people who make 40k (both spouses) and are debt free and live happy lives, and travel often, while others who make 100k+ are drowning in debt and argue constantly. The moral of the story. Find someone you want to spend time with. Everything else will sort itself out.

Thanks for doing this video. I disagree with the one lady talking about boot-strapping being a myth or a lie; it isn’t. I’m 44 with an MBA. I’ve had what most would consider a successful career with my final company salary being $120k. But, I started a side business in 2017 and I finally reached escape-velocity in 2024. Now I’m making $300k+ and it never would have happened if I had NOT “boot-strapped” it. One of the ladies is correct, companies are not paying what they should be. My dad made $42,000 in 1986 working for WalMart. Adjusted for inflation, that’s close to $120k in today’s dollars. Today’s median for men is $41k? No company is going to pay you what you’re worth; that’s why we’ve seen such an uptick in the “Maker Economy” and “Gig Economy”. I don’t know many folks these days that don’t have a side hustle to supplement insufficient wages from their company jobs. Very few companies offer a pension; most do not care about you. It’s the new reality.

Money is not the end all be all. I know currently of plenty of wealthy men whose personal lives are drama filled and very messy. If you invest yourself too much into your job, the life away from work typically gets neglected. Should you want to be the star at work and go for all the goals? Absolutely. But make sure your personal life has the attention it needs as well.

Dating is way harder than just expecting a partner with good income. Where do you find women who are willing to build a home in a supporting relationship? I'm a 33 male, $150k a year, no debt (other than my house), decently looking, a bit short (5'7"), no addictions, family oriented, no kids, financially savvy. I have focused so much on being the best version of myself for years, I have struggled to meet a romantic partner.

I can't help but think that these girls' answers were carefully prepared in advance. Prepared by themselves, I mean, not by Courtney. This was shown, I think, at the beginning, when they were all 'I only care if he's happy'. Then Courtney delves deeper, and we discover that they don't know the difference between 30k and 70k+. Now, I'm European, so I cannot relate to the magnified importance Americans accord to money (which ARE important, but we usually don't walk around expecting to tell someone 'I make 30k/40k/50k'. If anything, we tell people our monthly wage, but not on the first date), but even so, I get that those women let their expectations befuddle their cognitive abilities. Something that I find quite worrying, and this affects Europe as well, at least in my country (Italy) is the insistence on 'lifestyle'. Just like in the US, our court system is heavily biased towards women. Men are required to pay support money 'in accordance with the lifestyle their former wife was used to'. We did have a ruling adapting the support money to the men's actual financial possibilities, but we don't have common law here, so rulings aren't usually enshrined in our legal codes. Every time I read 'lifestyle' I always see an invisible 'I want you to fund my'. I'm not a psychologist, but an historian. Nevertheless, I'll leave an advice here: always be wary of people saying whatever 'mainstream' thing they think you will like. I have no surefire clue to suggest, or at least not in the technical sense, but be alert of people gesticulating a lot and making a lots of faces. Be wary of people interrupting you and constantly enfatically repeating your last word along with interjections. An example: A: 'I think a relationship should be based on mutual trust and values, not just on money...' B: 'NO, ABSOLUTELY! Like, money are, like, important but like they're not the ONLY important thing, value DO matter, as you say...' Beware of long monologues of madeup phrases like the one the blonde girl in pink delivered. That's a way to fool the fool. Don't be one. Be like Courtney: be SPECIFIC. Everyone knows how to please everyone without saying anything. Not just politicians. Politicians do that because they know many people like that, and can't be bothered to think the world is complex.

We have similar laws in the US about supporting a spouse’s lifestyle after divorce but while I’m sure it sucks to be in that situation it just reinforces the idea of dating and marrying within your class. If you pick someone up off the street you become the provider and I would guess that the laws in place are to make sure the other person isn’t just thrown out onto the street.

As a guy I don't think it's unreasonable to ask for income. Finance is a heavy component of any serious relationship. And absolutely, if a woman has high body count, I wouldn't be dating her. But maybe on the first date it is too soon, but before becoming official it's probably better to know.
