On your recipe book, you forgot to say that you need to dip the chicken into the wet batter. I was so confused what the batter was for so I checked your video.😅

I made this last week and OMG this was amazing. The crust was light and crispy and the chicken drumsticks were so juicy. Not exaggerating but this was the most juicy chicken I’ve ever had! It was like the meat was sweating once I bit into the crispy exterior. I loved this so much, I’m making it for my friend who is coming over tomorrow! Chicken is brining as I write this. I still have some leftover honey soy garlic sauce from last week so I’ll use that. (That was perfect too, btw)

I've tried your recipe for 닭강정 and guess what? My family DEMANDS it to be part of EVERY SINGLE CELEBRATION! I had to put that on all caps since it's that intense. They won't settle for any other fried chicken recipe. I just use the honey-soy sauce (your recipe too) for variation but the 닭강정 must always be present. They'll be fine with takeaway or delivery food when I'm too tired to cook but when it comes to fried chicken, your recipe is the steady winner. 👑 Thanks, Aaron and Claire! ❤️

Don't worry Aaron we're all protecting you. And for those who can't have tomato product like me, when a recipe calls for ketchup you can substitute it for half a teaspoon of vinegar. I had a friend taste test one of Aaron's recipes with the ketchup and then the recipe with the vinegar. She said the sauces tasted the same. Depending on your taste buds with vinegar, feel free to experiment with how much you think is needed.

I recently discovered your channel searching for how to make chinese food. Your recipes look great! haven't tried any of them but it looks like its the real deal. I love the way you talk with that accent or you kind of sing your words. You remind me of a french waiter without the french accent. Anyhoo, I enjoy your humour " angry hungry bird" lol etc "you need to protect me". I love that you explain things and talk about substitutes and put subtitles. Can you please do/make some videos on air fryer chicken instead of frying it all in oil? I just want a healthier approach, so if you can do a healthier alternative that would be great. Also, can you do the a recipe video on the 1) asian vegetables (brocoli, cauliflower, carrots, onion, etc it has a clear glaze goo with garlic bits in it. ITs at the restaurants and food court. Its so delicious! 2) the chinese green beans you find at the buffet and it is wilted or maybe fried with lots of garlic- so delicious! that would make me eat green beans all the time 3)eggplant recipes 4) chinese broccoli recipes 5) fried rice with that beautiful aroma but I don't know what it is-even though its chinese, I am sure you know the recipe! 6) shrimp wonton soup with those garlic pieces I know I am asking for so much!! I really enjoy your channel

Pro tip if you deep fry something in new oil it won't fry properly. So by double frying you will get the best results as he did. But here is the tip. Keep some of your used oil, like a cup of it and keep it in the fridge or freezer and add it to your new oil and it will make your frying work perfectly.

Im actually drooling by watching this and i would looove to give it a try..but i do have some questions if anyone an answer of course!!So um, 1)Aaron mentioned cake flour and where i live we have all purpose flour and then flour that we use for cakes and stuff to boost them up and then there is corn flour and other so which one do u think i should use?...2)I dont have chicken bouillon powder so could i use a chicken cube???Also can i use sweet paprika instead of cayenne pepper?(cause i cant stand the spicy food)..3) Even if we use four instead of chicken powder..i dont think it will have this extra chicken flavor so maybe i could use a chicken stock cube again?...4) Aaron in order to cover/powder the drumsticks, put again the chicken powder so in that step should we use the ratio of the flour he mentioned on the batter step? Again sorry for the many questions but living in a different country has some differences and im trying my best to see if i can use something similar ...whoever has any advice i would appreciate it 🥺💌
