Haha. If you want to know, a breve is like a latte, but with half-and-half steamed instead of milk. Pretty delicious, but not the most healthy 🤣

Pause the video, hit the Gear, Change Paypack Speed to .75 or less. I did this and then realized she was just signing the same word twice. I was like, that looks the same to me! 🤦‍♀️

I agree. To help with that slow down the speed of the video so you will have more time to interpret the finger spelling.

It definitely helps to be familiar with that words, which is so fascinating. Probably people who know these words well knew the answer before you even got through the whole word. People who don't know the words had to see it two or three times to get through it. I guess it's a similar concept to being able to read by sight vs. sounding out a word you're not familiar with.

I totally flunked. Guess I should have listened to the instructions about it dealing with coffee but even that wouldn't have helped since I don't drink coffee and don't know half of those words. Maybe next time I'll get one correct. 😐

This comes with time. You're definitely taking steps in the right direction. Once that clicks you'll know you're closer to fluency as the language comes in and out of you organically.

Is the accelerated course asl 1, 2, 3? I can’t determined if I need to be in asl 1 or 2 I’ve been using Lingvano, bill vicars and others but struggling with grammar and sentence structure and receptiveness. What course do you suggest? Thanks!

Accelerated includes all of our courses. We currently offer ASL 101 - 401 and a few other topical courses. For students in your situation, I suggest enrolling in the ASL 101 course and skimming through the curriculum. If there's an area you don't feel confident in go ahead and study it and take those related quizzes. You could also take each test to check your understanding before going though the lessons. If you don't pass, you may need to take the lessons. We would hate for you to skip to ASL 2 or 3 and miss some vital information needed to connect the dots in the later courses. There's also a lot of good culture lessons you would miss out on. Since the membership includes everything, you have the luxury to jump around.
