Wow. It's crazy for me to watch this now. We watched this in my ASL class 2 years ago and I couldn't follow along with the ASL at all. Now it's part of another assignment for a different class and I can understand it this time! It's so encouraging to see that my language skills have grown!

Unfortunate that Gally students see this and then insist that everyone else creates their vlogs with perfect background and clothing and style. I just was told my brief vlog to ask students to contact me wasn’t “clear” enough, and told to watch this by another student. Classism during covid. No, I do not own a fancy camera and tripod. No, I do not have a space in my apartment with any walls that are solid color. No, I cannot go purchase anything I have no income. It is sad that there is no education that there is a classist privilege where some Deaf may not have access to software, hardware, equipment, lighting, or clothing to make something look clear like this professional project. It is allowing people to move upward, yes, if they have $$$, and it is now also a method to push the have-nots totally out of ability to move upwards.
