@@cryptox826 Without Dany and the Dragons the Unsullied had zero chance surviving if they executed Jon. Sansa would immediately declare war and march south with an army of Northmen, Tyrion is Jons ally and so would help too along with the Westerlands, andGendry in the Stormlands would most likely join aswell since he feels loyalty towards Jon, whilst Robin Arryn and Edmure Tully are 50/50 in joining Sansa/staying out of it. The Unsullied don't need to know about the War of Five Kings to realise that executing Jon means potentially war with Four of the Seven Kingdoms, with zero allies of their own.

Comrade Corbyn The North was completely drained after all of the Wars they were in, they wouldn’t be able to amount many men at all. Tyrion is smarter than that and wouldn’t war for the North and neither would his people. Edmure probably wouldn’t aid Sansa bc of the way she treated him. Even if she got Robin to help they couldn’t beat the Unsullied, especially since they’ve lost all of their good commanders.

Yes Robert lead the Rebellion but he did not started it.Robert and Ned at The Eyrie at that time. The Rebellion started because of the Mad King burning Rickard alive and strangled Brandon to death.When Brandon heard the news about her sister he was on his way to wed Catelyn in Riverrun.So thats why im curious whos told Brandon.We all knew Littlefinger loved Catelyn.

Hasan Wilson He didn’t even see Robert again until the Greyjoy Rebellion. It was then they reconciled some. Eddard had more worries than exiled Targaryens, like the one that is his actual nephew.

Hasan Wilson You can’t expect Ned to think he could trust any with that information. He didn’t knew Catelyn well enough and by the time he could trust her wholeheartedly her opinions on Jon had been established. He could have told her then but why the hassle? Ned is far from wise or perfect so can’t really discredit his decisions. And he was going to tell Jon but fate had other plans. Ned’s reasoning was let the truth be buried with his parents and let that be the end of the tragedy. The only person he ever truly thought of telling was Jon himself, but only when he was safe and far from enemies and notions of vengeance.

Hasan Wilson How do you figure? Ned valued his siblings. His love for his sister lead him to betray his friend and king, and his own honor which would have likely lead him to proclaim Jon the true king by birth right. But because Lyanna asked of him he kept Jon far from the throne and the threats that came with it, Ned was tired of tragedy and war. His brother he found brash but loved him well enough, and he always looked after Benjen. Ned grew up with Robert but he still spent the majority of his youth with his siblings. Robert on the other hand loved Ned more than he did Stannis and Renly combined.
