that underlayment u have ice or what called it look good and sturdy , i live inm sweden so not familiar with just this kind of thing but i guess its here to get too if u have a leak to ur shingle that ice shield will do the water dont come down? good work

Roofing is the definition of insanity. You keep doing the same thing, expecting a different result. A roof is intended to keep a home dry. Yet, roofers hammer in thousands of holes into the roof with nails that will rust and leak. All this to attach shingles to keep a roof watertight.

You obviously understand nothing about how roofing is done or how it works. Asphalt shingled roofs, with "all those nails" typically last 25-45 years, with no leaks, when done correctly.

@@threebrothersroofingcompany people are going to criticize regardless of how good the work is lol. I been roofing for almost 30 years. That chimney is in a bad spot but as you know, ya had to deal with it as it is. personally i would have just used metal counterflashing because even a nice tar job takes time, and gets a little messy on a residential roof. But i really wanted to add this, I've worked on many waterfront oceanside beach properties, and nothing guarantees no leaks on a chimney like a professional tar job! Happy safe future roofing!
