*403 is a bypass route of 401* beginning in Woodstock, crossing Hamilton, Oakville, and Burlington and ends near Mississauga. As of today, it is the only alternate route of the 400-series highways connecting both ends of a main route, in this case is 401. When I say bypass, it means an alternate route connects both ends of a main route. Also, 403 merges with QEW kilometer markers 101 to 123. It is the only concurrency route of the 400-series highways of Ontario has ever seen.

The view going down the 403 by Hamilton really caught me off guard my first time through. It's definitely my favorite section of the highway and I think I've only driven it once. I somehow always find myself exiting on the Lincoln Parkway for one reason or another to finally wind up in Toronto. Anyways, great video! The fall colors are always a nice change in scenery.

Great Video. The 403 through Hamilton is probably my favorite drive in the province, especially in the fall. Glad to hear the QEW will be widened through Mississauga. That road is hell to drive even at the best of times

That’s probably one of the most interesting stretches of 4 lane highway I’ve seen. That stack at 5:15 was also pretty unexpected. Cool ride! Also, good news about the widening through Mississauga. Totally agree with you at 10:10, that stretch feels really outdated and ghetto.

The 403 through Hamilton is a favourite local drive of mine. I generally prefer the 403/QEW route vs the 401 when coming back from southwestern Ontario or Michigan, though the 403/QEW is more prone to congestion than the 401, so the timing of the trip matters a lot. Thanks for the comment.
