Undertale was heavily inspired by Touhou. Toby Fox is a huge Touhou fan and friend of the creator of Touhou: ZUN. Asriel design is very similar to Touhou Sariel "Angel of Death". Basically all laser, stars and beams attacks of Asriel are heavily inspired by Marisa spell cards (the named attacks she used in the animation). Tsundereplane hat is Yukari hat. In the library you can read that monster recieve spell cards, bullet hell patterns for their birthday (basically the game mechanic of bullet hell named patterns in touhou is referenced and used in Undertale). Also Asriel used named attacks, also referencing Touhou spell cards. When Reimu (the red clothes girl) said "poor Youkai" she was talking about Asriel. She mistook him for a Youkai. Marisa is a human magician. You should also check out Frisk/Chara vs Sakuya Izayoi, since it technically happened before this animation. Zun and Toby Fox made a collab song together. U.N Owen Was Hero. A mix between U.N. Owen was her? (touhou song) and Battle Against a true hero. The latter is basically a touhou song in itself, since it uses the famous Zun trumpets (the Zunpets). Basically touhou is a bullet hell game with awesome music. You should check it out. Okay enough rambling lol

ah yes i remember watching this fight it was really well animated and the ending was funny though haha frisk ptsd.."dont bullet shooter he*l me woman" my mans thats what touhou all about i should know i was forced to watch someone play a touhou game *shivers* never again it gave me nightmares also question for all the exetiors would you fight evil versions of yourselfs or nah
