I am fixing to build this with the 5600g as a back up pc and light gaming box but also when i go and visit family I turn on my main gaming rig and fire up steam then go on my trip and stream games on Steam and it works great even 200 miles away it like playing at home so cool done in past with a small media box and a 3600 with a 1030 low profile card but that box is still very big compared to this build and my old media box will get my Athlon 200ge and it will stay connected to my tv from now on .very nice review good work

Great little thing. Have one myself and absolutely love it! A couple of common problems that myself and others have had with this system: 1. The front LED's don't work. This is just a minor annoyance but still. I've torn down the system completely looking for the problem with no luck. I see others report the same problem. 2. No above 4G decoding. Well, according to the manual it should be available, but in my bios it does not show at all. I've tried all the tricks in the book, CSM etcetera.. I see others report the same issue. Some get it to work, most don't. Not a big issue for me, but if above 4g is important to you then well... good luck. Hopefully this will be fixed in a future bios update. 3. No bios flashback. Be aware of his. The new Ryzen 5000g series is only supported with the latest bios. If you receive an older unit with an older bios, your APU may not work. Only solution is to somehow get hold of a older apu, flash the bios, then swap the apu to your final one.

I was on r/sffpc just yesterday and I saw the coolest case for the deskmini x300. It's called the cirrus7 incus. It's can completely fan-less cool the deskmini with thermal capability up to the new-ish ryzen 7 4750g! It's probably the coolest fanless + sff system I've ever seen. If the fans ever get to annoying you can switch to silence!

It does not come preassembled. I did a video on the A300 a while back with the full assembly process of your curious. I don’t think it’s a step-by-step but it should help. You’ll have to install your own operating system such as Windows 10 too.

He didn't mention the wattage of the power supply. Is it still 120W? I wouldn't overclock the CPU, only the graphics and ram if they didn't upgrade the power supply. ETA Prime did a video with the 5600G and he just clocked the ram and graphics because he only had about 3W left. Computing power isn't the bottleneck in the system anyway, the graphics will be.

I bought the MSI PRO DP20z 5600G for $599. With todays prices, you couldn't build one of these for $600 with a 3200G. The 5300G vega 6 MSI PRO DP20Z can be had for $499 when they are in stock and the 5300G with it's 6 updated graphics cores is equal to and trades blows with the 3400G and it's 11 cores in gaming. I'm covered up in graphics cards but I saw how tiny the MSI was and I had to have one. I was going to get the 5300G model but they were sold out and no wonder at 499 inflated American pesos.

Do you have any information on the RAID 1 setup for this? I'm looking at buying one and would like to do RAID 1 using the M.2 NVMe drives. My first ever DIY PC was the Asrock DeskMini X300 which I love so much. I just gave it to my son and have build the Asrock DestMeet. So far it is great! It is with AMD Ryzen 5 5600G and Corsair 32GB 3200 RAM. In the BIOS by default AUTO it opens as 2133Mhz. The BIOS version is 1.4. Is it safe to tweak it to right speed 3200Mhz? Will work OK or crash? Is there any danger in doing so? Sould I change also the voltage- Will I feel big difference between the Mhz?

There's more pain by using X300 Barebone... the temp man, i use Ryzen 7 5700G with X300 Jupiter ( slimmer version of the Deskmini ) You won't even survive playing games for more than 20 minute because Ryzen will get overheat so fast due to the poor cooling options, and it will quickly go to 95 degree so fast that the GPU will start to kill the output connection to the monitor to prevent damage.
