In the lore, jetpacks allow marines to fight almost entirely in the air, I believe Sanguinius' personal guard used them to keep up with him on the battlefield

In my experience it mostly happens when your target dies after flying at them but before you slam. Can't slam straight down. Also had it happen when the lictor I targeted went stealth.

Assault, is the one class that can consistently deal over 20K damage in melee. Add a tactical in the mix, now you litteraly 1 shot packs of Warriors with your jetpack.

First time on assault lethal went to the terminator operation at the end flew off the map had to fight 6 to 8 waves and two zoenthropes until i climbed on to a pipe to get back on the map boss was one hit too

people who say assault class is bad never played it correctly. The aoe and dmg with the ground slam is insane. Saved many downed brothers and clutched so many games.

The assault can also slam down on neo and and zoe's, if you get the on any incline, they are most likely to get and stay close to the ground.

Problem is assaults in my experience aren’t team players, I was playing on ruthless with a level 6 sniper and a level 25 assault. I was a level 25 bulwark trying to play as a team and keep the level 6 alive the assault just moaned as I was taking damage to keep the level 6 alive and let him take items etc. He then openly told the level 6 they should kick me as I was going down lots, level 6 said nothing as I think he understood I was trying to make sure he stayed alive. Played a few mins more but then quit as the assault really annoyed me lol!

I think I had the same guy the other night. He complained on voicechat twice and so the second time I just told him, "Fuck YOU!!!" and he shut up after that. I really hate players like that.

Honestly taking it seriously for a moment assaul needs a buff Nothing like this, this is overkill but something like what one of the comments you read said so I think it should be an option to either ground slam or while running if you activate it you just go flying at ground level and the charge would just tick down just as if it was filling up but reversed and you would fly for either until the charge is depleted or you simply stop

When i use assault i literally fuck everything up. If ur complaining ab assault being weak u need to get better or use different perks, ive maxed out every single class, and sure some of them might be a bit weaker than others but they r all good when u learn how to use them and assault by far is the strongest class ive used 0 doubt playing on substantial to ruthless difficulty its i just 1 shot major enemies

This happens to me constantly against the tyranids, I think it just bugs out from spaming it 3-4 times in a row

oh look another horrible bug that wont be quashed for a long time also only good assault are sweaty try hards if it was a good class it wouldent require so much to do so little. Most classes can do what a peak assault can do without little effort no amount of defending assault will change the facts its a garbage class mainly because of garbage mechanics and the biggest culprit garbage perks. ((Also im not calling anyone out in particular just saying it takes an overabundance of breaking your back to make shit viable)
