Good video, thanks for the brief explanation on the crank being ground down. Thought that was the case that just confirmed it.👍

These are great videos, please keep them coming. I have an ancient Scirocco and Sierra that might be good candidates for the Saab B204 or 234. Looking forward to seeing how these engines electrical systems are laid out to make them run.

A B234 Sierra would be fun!

Amazing mate! Coming along brilliant. The belt tensioner looks great. I reckon them mole grips are gonna make a hell of a noise though. Probably best going for a smaller belt.

Hey Adam, I'm enjoying the Uaz/Saab build, thanks for uploading. I hope you can go into detail of how you 'plumb' it in, particualy the electrical side. & greetings from Aus'.

Great ideo, I would however rething the routing on the belt and pully's From crank (left side) to idler to alternator to tensioner...hope that makes sense
@LivingMyBoostLife Жыл бұрын
It does make sense and it's advice I've given to someone else for their project 😄 Ideally you'd want the tensioner to be on the non driven side of the belt, ie between the alternator and crank pulley. But everything else is already in place and it only really leaves the top right needing a pulley adding so 2 stones, 1 bird 🤷 It will work, but it's not ideal

Own a saab rear seal tool But I no longer use it Finding a block of wood and a mallet is less trouble . It's Also Klever to fit the rear seal ..AFTER the rear Ali plate is fitted
