Alternatively, Monoprice has a version of thier blackbird 4k hdmi switcher, that has an audio extractor built into it. So there is no need to for multiple boxes for different systems, or additional wires. Got my HDMI switcher that outputs to a TOS link switch (for console & PC), that then connects to an gen2 Astro a50.

Nice video man, I'm looking to do the same thing and have multiple consoles set up on 1 GoXLR. You have it seamless which is what I want, turn off 1 console and jump onto the next one without any issues and be able to hear and stream everything. So if I wanted to stream PS5 or Xbox at any time I can without having to mess with settings. I was wondering if you could post a setup guide, where everything is connected and how it is routed? An explanation/diagram of it all would be awesome. Thanks!

You can if you’re able to set it up with an audio interface like for streaming although it’s quite complicated to get working and it gets really annoying how inconsistent it can work. I wish there was an easier solution than needing a TOS splitter and then a microphone splitter to go between this and the audio interface. You will not be able to get 1440p at 120 with this device... Although 1440p 144Hz requires either HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 the developers of this device dropped the ball on this one terribly.. they have since apologized..

I’m having an issue with my screen being black when I plug everything into the adapter. Everything is in correctly and plugged all the way in. If I hook the hdmi straight from the ps5 to the monitor the everything is fine

Can you help. I got the adapter so I could use my mix amp for game chat on my Xbox and discord on my laptop. When I had the Xbox one setup it would work because the usb had to be connected to the laptop, and the optical port to the old console. But the new console doesn’t have the optical port. I have it set up the way it tells me to set it up which is usb to the console from the mix amp the hdmi cables where the need to be. And the optical port attached to the adapter. Then the other micro usb ran to my laptop, but the thing is it’s not picking up the mix map on my laptop for devices or anything. Was wondering if I had it setup wrong or there’s something I’m missing.

Just bought a50s n learned that my ps4 slim doesn’t have an optical slot. Will this work on ps4 slim also? And also I noticed one of the comments said that the audio still wont be as good as if the base was plugged into the system direct. Is that true? Do you think this device will work with a Arctis Wireless Pro headset? The base station has optical in, line in/line out. I want to use the wireless headphones and capture game audio w/chat to an elgato. Steel Series stupidly disabled the line out when in PS5 mode 🤬

So I just plugged in this device. I have an elgato HD60s that this adapter runs to which then runs to my monitor. When doing this setup, the video does not feed to monitor. When I cut the elgato HD60s out of the loop and go straight from adapter to monitor, it works. Am I doing something wrong?

And I value the 120hz too much, it was the main reason I bought the console. This truly sucks, you think they’d have prepared for this.

I have the HDMI adapter now. I run the HDMI out into a 4k6o pro mk2 capture card. I hjave optical going into the back of my goxlr. I have the astro mixamp with the chat link coming out of it, the A40s plugged into the female split and the male split going to the line in on go xlr. I have an aux cable connected the go xlr headphone port with the aux port on the astro mixamp. I am getting duplicate audio when I try recording. I cannout mute console capture in OBS or else I cannot output party chat. Any help?
