Came up short, but a nice rally effort. I'd rather see Hader out there with a rare loss than some other pitchers who consistently lose it. Good for Whitcomb on the first RBI of his career. Now onto the Mariners.

If Hader doesn’t get his sh*t together we won’t get out of this wild card round. I long for the days when the setup man and the closer came in and I said “They got this.” This year the cuss words start flying when the starter gets taken out.

I think you should do your research because Hader has been outstanding this season. Pressly and Abreu have been pretty bad, though.

Hader has 33 Saves in 37 opportunities this season. He had a streak of 20+ saves in a row after blowing a few at the beginning of the season. He hasn't been perfect, but since May he has literally been the definition of "I got this".

@@thegreatescape07 yeah, he “got this” right into a loss which isn’t good in the playoffs. Also, I distinctly remember him playing with fire in a lot of those saves. It took four and five star catches ti pull out several of those. Then add in the times he came in a tie game and lost it. He’s directly responsible for 10 losses. If he had won or saved just half of those we’d be in second place. I have absolutely no confidence in him or Pressley or Abreu. It’s going to be a short playoff that’s going to feel long with all the stress those three give the fans.

Dang is amazing how everyone is crying bout this game and how Hader is at fault.. geez yall want this team only on the good ones but as soon as they lose is the freaking end of the world! Bunch of cry babys.. this is baseball if yall have forgotten! Gotta be willing to take the L from time to time the guys have done an amazing job coming back to be first place in the division. Did yall forget that already.. while the bullpen is concerning we gotta trust they will figure it out before the postseason but in my opinion as long as the bats stay hot all the way through October we will be fine.. so chill! With the crying.. also thank chili for the amazing highlights all this season!! 👍👍

@@ktcarldo you realize? Hader had 20 saves in row up to that point and has had one the best years of his career. Can’t win them all and can’t be perfect all the time!!! If Hader blows up when it counts then complain not when the game has no bearing on them winning the division. 1 win against Seattle is all the Astros need!!!

Literally this. We lead the division, go on win streaks, everyone is overall performing well but there is a meltdown every time we lose. Yeah it sucks to lose this way, but it happens.

Just gonna stay positive that they scored 8 again, which means in 20 games since repainting the batters eye, they're scoring just short of 8 per game. And also the Mariners pissed away a 5-0 lead to lose. So....there's that.
