I have had this configuration for a couple of months now. Other than some gaming and schoolwork, this laptop has performed really well. I upgraded the SSD and ram and now have 1TB of storage and 16gb of memory. This laptop is surprisingly capable for gaming and can even handle some intense games at medium settings at 1080p. However, I do wish I had gotten the 20 series configuration. Build quality is very solid. It is by far the most premium feeling laptop I have used (other than a Macbook Pro). I/0 is pretty good but a usb hub would be recommended. I have noticed that some keys have developed a squeek after my time using it. It is not too annoying and I personally like it. Battery life is good but tweaking some settings is necessary to make the most out of the battery. The default settings are not battery life friendly.

@Edwin Johnny yeah there are two slots. Only 16gb of ram dual channel though. You can still have 32gb of ram (two 16gb sticks) but only the 16gb will be dual channel and the other 8gb would be like standard memory.

I got the 5800hs model with 1650 and 16 gb ram for 750 usd and i am super impressed with it so far. Most games run well on medium settings at 60 fps or more and with that price its a pretty good deal i guess. Temps are pretty good too. They do not exceed 75-77 degrees even after extensive hours on max settings. And idle temps are around 45- 55 depending on what youre doing. Overall not bad considering the price.

Mine got in today. Copped it for €1000, €790 after I receive my tax. Specs: 1660ti Max-Q / Ryzen 7 / 120hz panel. The laptop feels really premium and performs great. Played Rainbow Six Siege on High settings, got 175fps - 180 fps and it was running at about 72 degrees. There are laptops with better specs out there, but coming from an HP x360, this performs above expectations! (Really curious on the performance of RTX and better panels are right now haha). All-in-all I would recommend this laptop. Fun bonus: The matrix back of the laptop is costumizable.

Hey Emiliano, it should definitely do the job! I have used 3D modeling software such as Blender without issues. You could opt for newer models to get better performance, but imo this does plenty enough!

Looking to buy this One, can you tell me about the display quality, more precisely about the color gamut of the 60 Hz display this particular varient has which I can't find anywhere on the internet. i really need to know if this display is indeed 100% SRGB or not, its is very important to me. NB. All the varients of zephyrus g14 2021 listed on Asus's official website either has a 120Hz 100% DCI-P3 display or a 144Hz 100% SRGB display. Thanks in advance!

@@Musa-lf5yn the one with the stock 16GB ram doesn’t need any work to be done. But if u get the 8GB ram and add another 8GB stick to it, u need to do some work. Before u buy ANY laptops, check wether the RAM is soldered or not if have a plan to upgrade or add another RAM stick to it. In some laptops the RAM can’t be upgraded cuz they are soldered. Also, some laptops will have a seal which should be broken to open it up and upgrade. If you break that seal, the Warranty cannot be claimed in case of any faults or damages made to the laptop.

The only thing I am skeptical about G14 is its mediocre Graphics card.

Put an 8GB 3200 stick in there. If the built in RAM is slower, the PC will compensate and you'll still be in dual channel mode.

*Asus G14:* A lot more portability. *MSI GF65:* A noticeable amount more gaming power (but not exactly night and day) and 2x PCI-E slots for storage. Asus G14 wins overall by more than a narrow margin, but not by a lot. I wouldn't hold it against anyone for picking the GF65 over the G14.

@@waniskandar4612 i bought it last week the gaming experience not that much because the GPU is weak also the body get very hot at the high required CPU/GPU programs "very hot" but the performance as everyday use its perfect with windows 11 very smooth for everything because the CPU chip is strong Also buy a noise cancelation headsets because the fan could be a little noisy Dont forget its very light in contrary of the 16" gaming laptops Buy it i recommend it a lot
