Movie is awesome, just awesome, bought it on VHS as soon as it came out, then on DVD, I am not a movie buff, I don't collect movies, I have less then 10 titles, this movie is spectacular and UNDER rated.

I recorded this movie to VHS. Watched it Soooo many times I can say t dialog almost word for word. Love both Sean & Christopher as actors!! Love Madonna's song Live To Tell. Glad to know others appreciate this movie too!

That's my favorite movie with Walken. And thanks to this film, I also found out who Sean Penn. It's just too bad that Chris Penn is dead. He also got the talent.He really changed - when I saw him in that movie and then in "Funeral", I just could't recognize him! Music-another great advantage of this movie. Madonna really did a good job! And Walken. As usual, he was superb. No matter how old he is, he is just Walken. Amazing. Too bad he doesn't have the kids to inherit the talent after the dad!

Great old movie that I recorded on VHS. Watched it so many times I can do t dialog nearly word for word. 👍👍👍Chris W. plays a bad guy sooo well. Sean is abot my FAV actor of all times, going back to Fast Times @ Ridgemont High.

@@olly8 Totally Agree 👍 wasn't Fast Times At Ridgemount High Penn's first ever movie? My favourite Chris Walken movie is The Dead Zone but yes, Penn and Walken are both terrific Actors.
@olly83 жыл бұрын
@@stevebowness9435 yes Fast Times was Sean's 1st movie. He said he messed up his audition, but a friend talked him into trying again. Love almost everything he does. I blamed his fights w/press on Madonna. She LOVED bn in t news, hez always ben t private type. Very big humanitarian! I knew a woman who got a part in one of his films (1990s). She hugged him when he gave her t part. He asked her "do u know who I am?" She replied "no, not really". LOL!! He sent a limo to drive her from Lincoln to Omaha (60 miles) for t local opening. Real classy guy. Misunderstood.

@@olly8 Mr Penn is a MAGNIFICENT Actor, one of the modern greats, my two favourite roles of his were BAD BOYS and STATE OF GRACE ( tremendous film) yes, had a bad boy image early in his career, oh and what about his performance in CARLITO'S WAY?? Outstanding supassed Pacino in that film for me...Hail Mr Penn.

This movie is almost 30 years old and it STILL haunts me. I don't think this film would have been so powerful without the performance of Sean Penn, and Christopher Walken adds his own brand of psycho in playing the weird ass menacing right on the edge of crazy father. This film is dark all around, is shot half in the dark, feels dark, has a dark plot, just dark dark dark. One of my favorite movies of all time.

Your reply is hilarious! Did you watch the movie? Walken kills one of his sons and attempts to kill the other one. This scene is a narcissistic injury by Sean Penn to Walken's character. Your comment is so wrong and funny, made my day! 🤣😂🤣
