Consider doing this band workout outdoors too, find a nice quiet location, it can be anywhere really, use a tree to loop the band, there is also something quite therapeutic too about this, great for clearing the mind and obvious benefits from just being outside....your very own outdoor gym, great when you're travelling too as you can still get your gym fix pretty much anywhere...

@@williamscarcia7903 That's what I'm doing, just sold my gym equipment that I bought during lockdown so I could reinvest the cash, sticking to bands now. After 20 years of pounding away with the barbells and dumbells it's a good move for me as I think it'll be better on the joints, imo. Also, no plans to be absolutely massive so bands are more than enough for me.

Once my arms recover from the extended farmer’s walks getting dumbbells from my work gym to my car yesterday morning l plan to hit these. Your son takes me back to my Duncan Yo-Yo days back in the late 70s but he’s far better than I ever was. Kudos to him!

Let say bands changed my life! Since I don’t have fingers on my left hand ( up to the wrist) I can’t use dumbbells. Bands used to be my only option... and ez bar. Found kinda glove that let me use dumbbells now but still bands are 80% of my routine! Great video! :)

Been using the few elitefts bands I have and they have been working great. The average band is perfect for rows and good mornings and with the light band I can do curls, pushdowns, extensions, and shoulder press. Never thought I'd get so much use outta them.

Definitely much needed. John's many years of experience prove invaluable once again. Had a major concern about how to attempt to replicate intense gym workouts. To be honest I have been pretty worried. We all work so hard in the gym, and without a set timetable as to when they will reopen, the thought of losing gains is troubling.

I was so in the dumps between being stuck at home missing the gym that I considered maxing out a credit card and converting my garage into a home gym. I'm thankful that it won't come to that but I may need to order up some nicer bands from EliteFTS.

Great content I'm a c7 quad I've been doing bands for 2 years now due to pressure ulcers keeping me from the gym I've been in and out of the hospital and nursing facilities I take my bands with me no matter how sick and with diet changes I've managed to lose 38#'s since September while adding muscle I used to read a lot of your posts on professional muscle glad I've found your channel

Been training with two light bands and one heavy band for six days now in a push, pull, legs routine. Def not losing muscle and getting a good daily pump. Great to see u doing the same. This way we gonna lose strenght but no muscle mass. Side not... you’re kid is so good at the jojo...really impressive 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I bought out my bag of bands and went to my neighborhood play ground. I had a great workout. It had plenty of time down points for the bands. I also used the blast straps to do push ups.

3-weeks of zero training, went from a 300 lb strict overhead press to barely doing a set of 15 pushups with a 'womens training band', not even going to attempt the Monster Mini band this week. Great workout, perfect start to get back into the motions and get the CNS kick started back up, thanks JM.

Just a heads up for those buying bands. Some of those short bands are stupidly strong. One of the ways I've salvaged them was to cut them in half using a sissor so it lowers the tension. (I bought multiples) Makes drop sets a reality. Will be honest... One or two of the super thick short band? I have no clue if I'll ever use them. However, it's pretty awesome owning such a strong rubber band.
