Еmperor Simеon The Great well, it depends really. The Bolghars that gave the country it's name had no relation to the slavs or vlachs. Also, at the time, bulgarians were just slavs and vlachs... well, at the time the term was a lot broader, reffering to anybody who spole vulgar latin. It was used mainly for romanians because it was a slavic (I believe) term, meaning foreigner. Romanians and Bulgarians are very similar in traditions and general aspect, often considered similar (on average) from a racial perspective. The Romanian absorbed a large amount of slavic influence, and Bulgarians absorbed a very large amount of vlach influence since the whole area was inhabeted by them (since the balkans were previously a Roman province). The Romanian principalities used slavic language for church and documents up until long after Michael the Brave's first Romanian reunion, so a language being used does not necesarely describe the ethnic composition of a country. In truth, both Bulgaria and Romania are to this day a single people, who just went their separate ways in terms of language. None is wrong, they just chose different halfs of the whole.

He says when the hungarians conquered Transylvania they fought with 3 local Voivodes Glad,Gelou,And Menumorut. and there is a town in romania called "Gilau" wich is based in the region we assume Gelou reigned. - Primary Cronicle writen by Nestor (A Russian guy, if you never heard of him) he says in his work that the Magyars defeated the "Blachs" and conquered transylvania. You can say Annonymus invented Glad Gelou and Menumorut because the hungarians needed someone to defeat. but Nestor had no reason to invent that. 4th Mathias Corvinus was 1/4 romanian. I dont get why he is in our Hymn either. the only things i know about him is that he was defeated by Stephan the Great at Baia and that he betrayed Vlad the Impaler!

The problem is that many people still live in the past. Now why should one get lost in one area? Personally, as I have seen, history always repeats itself. We had a great Hungary, they broke up. After that, the Austro Hungarian monarchy was broken. Then, in the Second World War, the Hungarian-inhabited areas were restored. I'm no longer interested in them, the present and the future are important to me. :)

Interesting video you made. What I see you tried to do is look for the stupid decisions we took (or the ones we should've taken and didnt) and shifted to the possible outcome. There are certain aspects you, lets say, missed but otherwise a really good video. You've probably went down the line (possible the only) of the language as common factor in an early unification and statehood (Romania is the only samewhat big country in Europe that had as unification motive the language which inevitably pushed through the ages towards a common culture and identity). To go back to what I was pointing out that you probably missed, is Transilvania. Never would've the hungarians manage to keep a hold on what was romanian majority land, with a unified and most probably, stronger neighbour. Romanian neighbour. There would've been no reason for the romanians to not intervene with full intent and 100% victorious. I am no nationalist, not even a patriot, but I strongly believe that in that context we would've been a France of the east, with the Ottomans as "our Spain", and Poland as "our England".

According your comments here every Nationalist likes to built it's own EMPIRE. Have in mind this is not possible nowdays.
