FYI,as a 20 year plant business owner, plants do not usually die, they get killed by the owners. Pro Tips: when talking a plant home for the first time from a grocery store, the temp will be drastically different.....from cold to much warmer on the boat. Give it a few days to adjust. 🙂 Light and "correct" watering address key. A green thumb is a learned skill. You can do it. I believe in you. 🪴👍🏻✌🏻️ . Niiiiiice work with the sails and restling with them. 🎉 ✨ 🌊 💨 ⛵️ 🏝 👙 🌞 ✨

Great prep in your video, respectfully suggesting you practice putting in the third reef several times before going to sea. We are preparing for a crossing to the Azores too, presently cruising the Bahamas, hoping to see you out there.

Hey guys something that might be helpful to you. Anything you need restitched on the boat if you use goretex or teflon whatever you call it there is very strong thread and very UV resistant and you may never need to restitch again because the say it will out last the sail material. I did my bimini and sail cover and UV cover for the jib because i got tired of having to restitch every 4 or 5 years. I have my stuff made with it in the first place. Thanks for all you do i hope this helps you some day. Even the cover for your dingy you could use that. I just had to buy the sailmaker a roll of thread which was 75$ which was well worth the cost since it cost a lot more for restitching stuff. Check that out next time.

Yeah! We have that UV thread on our dodger and enclosure. Made sure to opt for that so hoping it lasts a good while 🤞🏼 Thanks for sharing and for watching!

hahaha you are a lot smarter than me i tried to replace my outhaul and didn't realize there was a pully system inside the boom on my 87 hunter legend 35 and the line parted at the splice and i had to take my boom apart to fix it. You either knew about it or had beginners luck. The only way i could rethread it was to take the pulleys outside the boom and rethread them and install it back inside. It allows you mechanical advantage to tighten up the outhaul.

Ah! We initially installed the outhaul ourselves so we knew there was only one line in there. It was on the list to redo the outhaul with the pulley system inside but realized it was redundant for our set up!

Hey guys. Love your videos, we are about to leave Canada and sail to Mexico but are having a hard time finding anyone to insure the boat for offshore sailing. Who do you insure your boat through? Thanx!

The two of you should make a compilation video depicting all of the times that you yell at each other while docking or working on projects gone wrong. You can then make a follow up video that is just Travis apologizing!😃
