Thanks another method to repair this is instead of patch and doing it like I did, because it's visible and not perfect, is to cover the ceiling with shiplap. I guess it's popular these days and actually looks good. I might do that eventually. Good luck with your method

Rolly, they make a roller specifically for popcorn patch material, but the gun from Princess is the way to go if you have a compressor...

Nice job. You never said if after the repair, you primed the Sheetrock or not. Very important piece of information.

Bro that's not popcorn ceiling and if you buy the right tools for the job it turns a way better product.
