I have 2 buns and 2 litter boxes with hay feeders. I change out weekly with layer of untreated pine pellets I get locally at feed store. I do notice they tend to pee in the same corner so mid week I cover the area with the dry pellets and that makes a huge difference. Literally 6 or 7 days and it starts to smell, I cannot go longer. I also live in a warm climate with AC, that also makes a difference. In their digger box I use paper bedding and remove the wet paper daily adding more as needed to absorb urine. It is something that has to be managed constantly but as it’s been said “buns are a lot of work” 😂❤

I use pellets and paper bedding on top. My buns are very young and I clean their litter daily. I haven't noticed any smell yet. I would love a segment on the best litter pans for buns.

Thank you for this video. It was very helpful! I have been trying to find ways to control our rabbit's odor. I clean her living space daily but the odor returns when she pees. I will definitely look into purchasing an air purifier. Does the small select bedding have any proposition 65 warnings?

Hi bun friend! I use recycled paper pellets and it works wonders. Little to no odor and absorbs well. Sometimes what your feeding bunny is the odor culprit too. I have a young girl and just introduced bokchoi to her and her pp is stinky from it! 🤭 Good luck with your search!! ☮️💟🐰🐾

I love your pine pellets for smell control but my bun does not.

Great video as always! My youngest rabbit( just turned 1 year earlier this month) eats the paper bedding. I don't want her to have a blockage! I've been using cardboard ( which won't hurt her) but it's not hygienic. Any suggestions?
