This show has spectacular writing. The thought that goes into every character, the score, the appreciation for the actors… an absolute delight to watch. Grateful to watch in real time - and to have watched them level up to HBO Sundays after watching the previous seasons on Monday!!

Quite impressive how young these show creators are...

Totally agree. I'm flabbergasted when people say it's not done well, with flat characters and plot holes. I'm like, are we watching the same show?

I enjoyed this panel. They seemed very attentive to the audience's thoughts!

lovely and interesting conversation hearing from the creators especially mickey saying "don't make up your mind about the characters quite yet" because thats how i'm essentially viewing the show idk it seems like alot of folks quickly deduce harper as a terrible person and i understand that but i see the show as well i mean everyone here as pretty shitty but i reserve my judgement(even as a harper stern apologist LOL) i kinda see harper and eric on the same level of ugliness with rob definitely being more pitiful out of everyone so would love to see how that all plays out

Industry is just a incredible series . Season 3 is just a boom 💥. But the end of this season is so devastating.after watching the end episode honestly i need a therapy 🥲. Still waiting for season 4. But i am quite scared is this Robert, and yashmin last season or they are coming back industry season 4

The show is a low level piece of shi*** glorifying the basest of human behavior, filthy greed, exploitation, wanton promiscuity and immorality, deciet and envy. It revels in it. As well as showcasing the seams of predatory capitalism. Glad you find it incredible. Bask in its filth, my friend. Does it make you feel at home? Something there to ascribe towards?

Good show, but I don’t buy the young tech billionaire/upper class Twit character played by Harrington. That just isn’t a thing. Seems like it’s Brits fantasizing about being American.

I don't think he is meant to be a twit. I suspect he's a far more sinister character who is putting on an act.
@toryfoster33002 ай бұрын
@@mandzipop1752 He's called an "upper class toff" and other things in the show, but yes, I do see where you're coming from on that, there are lots of hints dropped that he's completely out of control and untrustworthy. I just think this type of outrageously successful young tech bros are not British. There are a lot of older high net worth people in the UK, but if you're talking about one of these young narcissistic business-risk-taking types, they tend to be American, Scandinavian (the character played by Alexander Skarsgard in Succession was spot on!), Russian, Indian...even Australian. But sorry, not British. Not seeing that phenomenon in reality. Prove me wrong!

@@toryfoster3300 A good example of an outrageously successful young tech guy is Hayden Wood. A young British tech guy who set up Bulb. Bulb was a green energy firm which never turned over a profit but became the 7th largest energy supplier in the UK with 1.7m customers. Start-up was in 2013. Went into special administration in 2022 because of the hike in gas prices and because it was in vast amounts of debt. Company was accused of bad practices in the workplace. Government had to bail them out and they were eventually taken over by Octopus. Despite never making a profit, Hayden Wood still made millions, and for a time, continued to get paid after the company went into special administration. I suspect the Lumi storyline is loosely based upon what happened with Bulb.

@@toryfoster3300 But show is WAY better than Succession. He's not really a tech bro. He's an old money rich kid who's playing that angle to make as much money as possible.

@@LoveJungle420 They are both good shows, I love the overall blunt, brutal style. Industry digs deeper and has more complete narratives for sure. re: an old money rich kid in the UK makes a lot more sense than him being a tech bro. They should show that. That he's putting it on as a narcissistic facade. He's living out his fantasy of being an american tech bro.
