My Auid 2013 20TDI shows EGR sensor Hot, nw there is a rattling noise coming from the engine. Sound only come if u accelerate maintaining slow speed. And it goes if u drive more than 40km and above

i don't remember the settings, but you can do them hand tight, I did not use a torque wrench for this

Hi, I don't have the Audi any more and can't tell you the exact value. I bought a set of those bits. And the ones that i used the most are XZN-8 XZN-10. the set has many more values. Let me know if XZN-8 is the right one :)

It’s the egr and anti judder unit, throttle body is on top of air box.

Hello, I just wanted to do this too and wanted to change all packing rings too but how does the second black ring call that you took out when you took the egr off, a black ring just under the cilinders i think that you pulled out?

@@chizirmelhi5200 I did not change any of them and there was no problem. Audi recommends changing all sealing elements, rubber or metal.

I get p200200 code on an Audi A4 2016. It says particle filter malfunction. The car is supposed to self-clean the DPF, and as far as I understand, a clogged EGR cooler can cause increased pressure on the DPF and its sensor. Any suggestions?

diagnose the dpf issue & perform the preventive maintenance aka clean the intake + flaps + egr. your dpf might have issues due to many other factors ( loss of pressure - broken pipes, driving style, bad fuel, bad turbo and so on ).

@BestCarMods it seems an expensive fix. I don't have the tools or the knowledge to diagnose this issue. In Norway, the speed limit is 80km, and the car is probably everywhere clogged (egr, turbo, valves, dpf). I use Shell V-Power diesel only, and recently, I forced a DPF regeneration through the car's ECU. If the car needs to go in a garage and get all these components cleaned (if not replaced), I am looking at huge bill.

@@ionkon the speed limit should not be a problem. without properly inspecting the car is it impossible to give you an idea on what is wrong. like a doctor you need to do some tests to assess the patient.

@BestCarMods Indeed, the only thing I noticed is that after removing the faulty code, it takes 2-3 days of normal car use for the check engine light to reappear. I'm not sure if that's the ECUs checking interval, or if there is something that gets activated/deactivated and causes the error to come back. It usually turns on while I am driving to work.

not really. it is designed to allow oil to get out. I remember having the same issue. clean it and monitor oil consumption

It isn't that much different on a7. If you got different engine, the throttle body will just be in different place and might look different.

Your not cleaning the EGR valve. The EGR valve is on the opposite side of the combustion chamber next to the EGR cooler.

@@BestCarMods he is right, you were just cleaning the part that connects egr line to the intake. Egr valve is next to the exhaust manifold directly attached to the egr cooler. In other hand the thing you were cleaning really looks like a egr valve. Could there be 2 of those or some mod were it has been moved there?

@@t.t7225 depends on generation of engine. maybe you have a euro6 or a different version. in theory(reading the Self Study Documentation on the 2.0tdi common rail engine ) they could have High pressure and low pressure EGRs (if i remember correctly)... one that is the classic from the exhaust manifold and another after the DPF... personally i cleaned only the one in the video.
