Audi A7 headliner dying and prep for starlight ceiling

Any advice or instructions on how you removed your headliner?

Pull it out the hatch with someone helping, I did it alone and it wasn’t too bad

@@darkhalooo7 did you have a step by step guide? Anything in particular that was really difficult about the removal?

@@Krsonecf​​⁠I didn’t did a video or anything for it… I wish I had, I’ll see if I can find something that will help…. Only part really gave me trouble was the sunroof. Once I got it down I angled it to pull out the trunk

You cannot get the A7 headliner out without creasing it. Only way is to take off windshield

I was able to get it out with very very little crease

Hi, how did you get the headliner out of the car? I looked up the official way and they say you have to remove the windshield and slide it out the front?

Got mine out the back hatch

@@darkhalooo7 thanks, are there any tricks to it? Did you have to remove the side trims as well to get it out?

@@Henry-nr3sf​​⁠yes you have to take off all side trims. Pretty much everything that’s touching the headliner

How difficult was it to get the headliner out of the car? Does it fit through the trunk?

Comes out the trunk pretty easy, I did it alone, but if you had help it would be earier

All that work to get it out and you spray it!?!?! What a wasted opportunity to recover it and it's already sagging!!!😖

Yea man smh, I’m more than lightly going to take it back down, do black suede and do it better.
