Audi S5 4.2 V8 - Straight Pipe Idle Rev

Got home from work and decided to let y'all hear the sound of my people. 2010 Audi B8 S5 with a 4.2 V8 with an 6 speed manual transmission behind it at 130k on the clock.
This is a complete dual cat-back straight pipe, with an X-pipe installed where then center muffler was. All 2.5" piping like the original diameter, nothing else performance wise installed (as far as I'm aware being a second owner). The wheels at 20" Ferrada FR3s powder coated Bronze Chrome with 3 coats of gloss clear.

You should make another vid with a cold start and maybe some accelerations. I was thinking about doing the same thing and I would love to hear what it would sound like.

I definitely plan on it! I'm new to the whole making videos scene, so trying to learn how to edit videos and whatnot. I can imagine the final product, but having to learn how to get there haha. Hopefully this weekend I can get some footage

How had reliability been with having 130k on the clock? Also how’s MPG? Killer sound brother!! 🔥

Got its first carbon clean at 130k, has been absolutely reliable since then. It started to misfire here and there prior to the cleaning. MPG is still great, typically get around 330 range during the winter and 360 range in the summer, also taking into account if driving it hard or calmly lol. And thank you, this next year, I have a lot of plans for it as I want to build it to be a car show killer. Haha.

Just to confirm. You removed the resonators as well? Exhaust has only cats? Thanks!

Yes, only the stock cats, literally nothing else. There is, however, an X pipe where the middle resonators were.

Is the drone pretty tolerable?

It's not too bad, there's definitely drone whenever you pull up a hill at lower speeds, but on the highway it's fine.
