Meze Elite - $4000 for "4k sound"?

The Meze Elite are the most expensive headphone I've ever tested, retailing at around $4000/£3749, and I was curious to see what this massive outlay gets you!
As ever, they are exquisitely designed and built, and offer all-day listening comfort. The sound is truly "next-level" and it's fair to say I don't want to send them back!
