This is one of the most talented musicians I've ever listened to on KZbin. He takes existing songs, but molds almost at will into his own forms, and makes them bend to his will and put his own spirit into them. But he has no genre, because you can tell that if he put his mind to it he could transform any song into whatever "skin" he chose to apply to it. I'd love to see him take "Red Barchetta" by Rush and transform it into his own embodiment of the impulse.
