I learnt never sign anything. I'm 52, never been in trouble, partially disabled from cancer, walking down my street, arsehole has a go at me over nothing, threatens to kill me, grabs my neck, I was a mental health nurse and a NHS trainer in self defence, so I breakaway leaving the guy on the floor, didnt follow up at all, cops turn up, blame me and tell me sign a form to say the "matter is settled". Find out that I admitted I was at fault. The other guy didn't sign so is officially blameless. Don't sign.

trying to get him to sign something confessing to a crime in the middle of the street without any legal advice or council or any evidence presented and no court date, how are the police even allowed to do this to someone on the spot without any assessment or anything, how do they know this person isn't a vulnerable disabled person who they are trying to intimidate into a confession, he can barely speak English as it is, they literally stitched the guy up right then and there.

It sounds like they have just sort of cautioned him for 'theft by finding', which is so wrong. He has had no legal advice at all. However, plod can add it to their figures to show how hard they are working (by picking on the vulnerable to up their crime figures, but staying away from anything that might be a bit difficult, dangerous or just plain hard work). Haven't watched all of this yet, so don't know how it will play out...

I got done by the caution scam man y years ago as a 14 year old. Got into trouble at school, I got arrested via my name just getting mentioned. Getting ripped apart by my parents never been arrested before and panicked. They didn't have any real evidence but I was young and got bullied into accepting the caution by getting told that it was a slap on the wrist and it wouldn't affect me in future it was just a formality. Boy was I wrong, all came up on dbs for when I had kids and started coaching the kids rugby team, it has stopped me taking my life limiting child to Disney in Florida. All because I got bullied into just accepting the caution didn't get offered a solicitor or anything. This was 24 years ago so it's been happening for years.

If a person isn't aware of his or her right's this is very easily done one can be under duress and more or less coerced and incriminated into that and there aren't many who have a clue what they signing unless you truly know what you are signing when police say they are advising people is the biggest lie in history they are there to misinform misinterpret make up laws and bullshit as they go along they are there to ill advise the members of the public into submission of guilt before found guilty nor they aren't legal representatives they work for the system the Crown and the prosecuting bodies wanting people put away against their will rightly or wrongly and they simply don't give a shit what they do because they work for the biggest corrupt gang of criminals never sign anything unless you are 100% sure what you are signing especially from the biggest gang of crooks If he isn't aware of his rights which I presume he isn't he probably panicked and signed it and simply had no clue what he signed

To be honest there are few lovely places in slough. However the town centre is a dive for sure. I was there today and I felt so horrible passing the place ie trolley loads of rubbish. Come to burnham beeches, decent areas. But yes stay CLEAR of the town centre. Also I'd like to point out - the idotic person who actually passed the bin but chose to just throw the rubbish on the floor. It's the PEOPLE that make the place. Very sad that most of the shops have closed.. bournemouth is the same, mostly boarded up. That what he crises has done and the WEF plan to get rid of most of the shops.

I was told by an ex copper who was a decent copper btw. That 'theft by finding' isn't an actual thing in the UK. It's just theft of someone's property with the intention of keeping it. Otherwise you could nick anyone for picking anything up that's accidently lost. Which plod has done in the footage.
@ColonelForkEyes

Yeah, the definition of theft is to permanently deprive a person of the property. Hence why there is also the lesser charge of taking without consent.

Actus Reus, and Mens Rea must be present in order to bring a charge of theft. The git was caught bang to rights on CCTV, and then pretended not to know he had done anything wrong. Steps must be taken to try and find the owner, under normal circumstance, which proves that you have no intense of depriving the lawful owner of their lawful right to their property.

Slough has a relatively high crime rate; figures for all crime categories are annually above the English average and figures for a few categories are at more than double the frequency. According to British Crime Survey statistics, as of September 2013, Slough had the second worst rate of crime among local authority areas in the Thames Valley Police counties (87 recorded crimes per 1,000 population vs Oxford's 104)

Hi AB Scary how you can get done over like that, shocking. Maybe because I'm older and I'm so trusting of the Police. When I was growing up I was told to call a Bobby if I needed help. The Blue vests are setting such a bad example, they are only making the place an even worse place to be by the look of it. Shame on Slough a big fail.

Slough leadership: Mayor Dilbagh Parmar (Lab) James, Leader James Swindlehurst (Lab) Councillors Lab 35 and all other parties 14. "On 2 July 2021, Slough Borough Council issued a notice under Section 114 of the Local Government Finance Act 1988, having the effect of preventing any new expenditure on non-statutory services, following serious financial problems being identified. In October 2021, the government announced plans to appoint external commissioners to help run the council after a series of reports highlighted major problems at the local authority. Superb video. What we witnessed is the abject failure of education and the result of political corruption.

How about the novel idea of just getting the best people for the job. Clearly in this case those people are crap a that job.

The female warden had probably been to McDonald's several times that day already (and every day previous). While the people of this country believe they can and should phone the Police (or threaten to) for anything they don't like, rather than actual offences, things cannot improve, especially as the Police effectively encourage it.

I think it is unjustified when people say Slough looks crap. Personally speaking , I know that it looks good, but you need to view it in your REAR VIEW MIRROR.
