It's also BS that there's even such a thing as a concealed carry license.. you are not allowed to license a right. Do you need to buy a license to worship Jesus? Do you need a license to speak your mind? Do you need a license so the government doesn't keep soldiers in your house? So how is it legal to have any gun laws much less a permit system from the government? The Constitution specifically says you cannot make any laws that supersede your Bill of Rights so how on Earth are there so many gun laws in the United States how can they require a license to exercise your right?

@@sablecraft54 I myself struggle with low self-esteem, and maybe on occasion quick to anger; I wish I had the solution to these questions as well, only the words of people who I care about can hurt me, but the only thing that hurts me at this point is my own self image; the main reason I don't think of acting in revenge or violence is because my mind knows too well that it just doesn't make anything better. I don't know about depression, but it sounds like we are in the same boat, I am only a fresh out of school 19 year old myself, so my ability to give advice is probably limited but, fight on; the conquest of your mind is probably the most impressive thing a person can do, to have no mental issues in this world you would truly have to be insane. Our brains weren't meant for the kind of life style we now live, the same validation and respect we would get from catching the largest beast on the hunt has been reduced to a few internet points that barely scratch our dopamine, we as a species need to find a solution to our creations making us more miserable, I cannot solve your problems but I know it is comforting to know that you are not alone. Really, there's no way to make that determination. Technically, you need to be going the speed limit the sign says when you get to it, not start slowing down once you reach it. Yes, there is a brief glimpse of the officer's speed detector, but he may have been using other ways to determine her speed (which happens all the time). She may or may not have been speeding, I don't know, too little data. That said, the officer needs to go. Oh nice call! You know I didn't even catch that? The cop shouldn't have been surprised there as you're correct. Had he done his job properly he'd of known about it. Sure the man should've notified the cop immediately. Yet police shouldn't be operating on the assumption that people will be forthcoming either. In fact it appears that they're trained to assume people are lying and/or hiding something.

@@sanderdeboer6034 I don't personally know, but I'd bet the other officer was on training or some similar shadowing position with him. Since throughout the whole clip, it seems the main officer led every aspect of it (besides possibly keeping contact with the driver while he was having a tantrum with the detained man) except for him speaking up about sending the gun away. Which honestly, kinda makes it worse depending how you look at it.

@sanderdeboer6034 3 жыл бұрын
@@kurokasteele4830 I feel the USA has a more hierarchical society than here in the Netherlands. I have worked for dutch bank ING Direct that was sold to Capitol One in the USA. Working in the head office in the Netherlands many colleagues from all over the world worked there, including some of the US offices. I did hear that there was a similar hierarchical structure at the work floor than I experienced with colleagues from India. Here in the Netherlands we have one of the most egalitarian work cultures. At every European company I worked for I could speak to the CEO without any barriers or fear. I have a cop in my family and I also follow several cop vlogs from both beginners and veterans. One I even follow from his first intake with the police where he had to undergo a mental evaluation before being hired to start his schooling. Police obviously has a hierarchical structure like the army. However here in the Netherlands people are more vocal when they disagree with something. This interaction would almost certainly gone different here in the Netherlands. Firs of all we have speed cameras so cops usually dont pull you over for these infractions. There is a highway police but they only go after the real road criminals. So people that really drive extremely fast or unsafe. And they usually first follow the car for a while to gather more data before pulling somoene over. They than invite you in the car to show you the road behavior on a video screen. It is mainly used as an educational tool to allow somoene to change their driving. And I feel European cops in general are more relaxed than USA cops. From what I experienced myself in the USA and seen on videos and shows. An advantage European cops have is that there are fewer guns here. Here in the Netherlands we own more bikes than people, not guns. And our police is not as strict as in many other places. We have what is called a 'gedoog' police which roughly translates to allowing minor infractions to go unpunished if they don't cause anybody any harm.

Update for those looking: After the charges were dropped, Officer Carlos Adolfo was suspended without pay from duties. Although it can't be found if he was fired, he is no longer listed as an officer at the Adair Police department. No criminal charges against Carlos Adolfo were filed with the Oklahoma judicial system; however, he is still fighting a civil case against Robert Everman and his wife Flavia Everman (who teamed up with others that had similar situations happen there). EDIT: Another update: If any of you guys wondered what happened of the civil case, Adolfo's first attorney withdrew only 2 months into the discovery stage of the civil case for an undisclosed reason (hmm I wonder, maybe its impossible to work with this guy!?). The case continued under new representation for another 10 months or so, where many settlement offers were rejected by the Evermans. Finally, a settlement offer was accepted, but it was an undisclosed amount. Since the nature of the suit was "Prisoner: Civil Rights," it is likely it was a very large settlement. Adolfo still does not face any criminal charges, but I hope the Evermans were made whole from their settlement.

When the recording started they weren't speeding. That area according to other videos is a known speed trap where the speed drops 10mph, so they might have been speeding according to an abitrary perception. Where the speed changes on the road ive heard things from "as soon as you can see the sign" to "100ft before the sign" to " exactly at the sign."

Just kind of general statement, it seems (at least locally for me, I can't imagine it's different elsewhere though) that the zone applies exactly at the sign. So if it's slower, you should slow earlier, but if it's faster you wait to speed up. Now follow that and lemme know if an officer gets on you for going too slow in the 30 feet before the sign, because I bet one would.

I saw the full video on another channel (LackLuster I think). The pace reader shows the cop going above the speed limit to catch up with the car, there is no definitive reading of the speed she is doing when going into the lower speed limit zone. What is clear is that she immediately slows down as soon as she hits the lower speed limit zone and is most likely going at the speed limit as she enters the zone/within 100 yards of entering it. The problem is that she later tells the cop 'I know I was speeding'... She causes a lot of problems by opening her mouth, hoping that by being agreeable she will make everything go away. What she actually does is nearly get her husband arrested and herself ticketed for going at a speed she most likely wasn't or at least wasn't provable. TL:DR - don't talk to cops

Story time: I was driving a manual shifting truck and not even 10 yrs since I did my drivers test (important information). It was at night and just dropped her off and just got on the highway like I was taught in drivers school, I was pulled over. The reason? I was left of center and wasn’t going the speed limit. I was then asked to step out and it was fall so I asked if I could get my jacket they asked if they could search it and the car for drugs. I said sure but you’ll only find mt. dew and a type of anti ascid. All because I was a jumpy and skittish late teen early 20’s person. But they wrote me a ticket and told me to show into court at ‘blank and blank’ which I had to manually ask for it off or evening shift since it was just over a week away from the posted schedule. Let’s say my ticket wasn’t a real ticket but a fake one. I was MAD! I was a young adult trying to figure out how I was going to pay a $200 ticket when I worked part time and had other bills to pay. I was just pulled over to meet a quota.
