I really enjoy Drunk History, but this one was just irresponsible. It's one thing to have a few beers and tell some stories is one thing. When you're struggling to keep a guy conscious because he's too wasted to sit on the floor beside a chair without falling over, we're not having fun anymore.

I absolutely love Drunk History, and am thrilled to pieces they featured August Spies in an episode, but to not even mention Albert Parsons, or the sacrifices he made in the name of his fellow anarchists in this incident, is a shocking omission. I realize these are not comprehensive history lessons, and won't fault them for not giving full context to what all happened that day, nor the repercussions that followed from it, but there is just so much wrong with this.

One of the Haymarket martyrs executed was Albert Parsons an ex confederate soldier who was married to Lucy Parsons a half black and half Native American born into slavery, both Anarcho Communists. Lucy Parsons was labeled "The most dangerous woman in the United States" in the late 1800s, another anarcho communist woman, Emma Goldman was given the moniker in the early 1900s.

Not to be that person, but Kyle Kinane is a stand-up comedian who drinks a lot. Those who are worried about his health are probably right on the money, but that's just how he is. He actually is super funny when he's only drinking a tiny bit, but to be honest I find him funniest when drunk because of the way he delivers his material, so...yeah, he is actually the most entertaining "historian" on this show.
