I have an interest in fungus and a very common kind of fungus seen is possibly penicillium mould, penicillium is mostly safe and harmless to eat, its the kind of mould you see most commonly growing on your fruit like oranges. But there are a few kinds of penicillium which grow on fatty foods like cheese and meat, and some of these produce neurotoxins, which damage nerve tissue. So essentially this guy is killing himself with prolonged exposure to nerve and brain damaging toxins. This was too much effort to state the obvious that a guy eating rotting meat is dying. Hi, I’m someone that eats high meat. This is NOT how you make it; you aren’t supposed to let maggots get into it, or fungus grow on it. There’s a number of ways to make it, but the main risk is botulism. It takes months to recover from botulism, and jacks you up really bad if it doesn’t kill you. Fermenting meat is something people have been doing for a very long time, but this is not the way to do it. His wife must really love him.
