Although I usually watch KZbinrs who react to Aurora, you are one of my most favorite reactors.You are very special and unique, you have a big heart, and your personal style is very different from that of other reactors. So course it matters that You are You. I wouldn't watch just any KZbinr just because they react to Aurora. Aurora's fans are wonderful, but I can understand how you can experience their enthusiasm as pressure, even if they don't intend to make you feel like that. I hope you can just react to her whenever you feel like it. Of course, the main purpose is that you feel free to experience and enjoy her music. You shouldn't feel obligated in any way, because that would spoil all the fun. BTW, listening to these songs with you just gave me goosebumps. Doesn't happen with just anybody...😃

I just wanted to say that I totally get how you feel about watching her after seeing her live! I saw her perform in Manchester and for the few weeks after I couldn't even listen to any of her songs without crying my eyes out because I wanted to see her again so much LMAO I've gotten over it now but her concerts are just so special there isn't any other feeling like it!! I feel like a complete fool for not finding/listening to these before!! In a way I was kind of reacting to the songs with you which was really fun to do and especially when I saw you smiling it made me want to smile as well if that makes sense lol! All of the songs sounded so good and they made me really happy but also made me want to cry for some reason? What a nice way to precede Aurora's birthday next week! BTW: Colder is also better then I remember. it is always with Aurora music - f.e if i want to make a ranking of Aurora songs I put them in order but then listen to the songs lower in my ranking and "OMG this song can not be so low" ;). On the end I can not make a stable ranking.

Gone and All my demons were performed a number of times before the album was released, along with other unreleased like animal soul, my heart is a storm, we were going to do that, blue valentine. Gone was sampled in a track by Icarus (I think that's the artist's name, not sure) and all my demons was discarded because she wasn't pleased with the studio. Imo, the live version of gone is a little better. Edit: yes, the version of all my demons you heard was live.

Aurora's music can be so personal, and it makes sense to want to explore it on your own outside of the reactions! I think some people can come across quite hostile, I'm not sure if they are even aware of it but this is your channel and you create the content you want to - so it doesn't make sense for people to be so demanding. I saw her live a few days before or after you I think, on that same tour and it was SO good. If you really enjoy acoustic performances, once you feel like watching/reacting to live stuff again, I can highly recommend this COP26 acoustic show in Glasgow. Have you heard her unreleased song "Wake Up" yet?? It's SO good. By far the best of the recently leaked songs. It was from the recording sessions for her latest album The Gods We Can Touch. Kinda blows my mind that it didn't make the cut.....it's one of the best songs she's ever done. The only downside is that it's less than 3 minutes long. :(

Hi Fern. I hope I'm not one of those people stressing you. I have posted many lists of aurora songs like unreleased and covers etc., but that is because you love Aurora, and I want to inform you what is still out there that you have not heard yet. I do not remember posting any forceful/demanding messages, but written language can easily be misunderstood, and I'm a purely mathematical and logical person, so maybe I just come across as cold and/or demanding. Of course I also posted these lists of songs, because I hope that you will have time to react to some of it at some point like this great video, but you should not feel stressed or pressured into anything, specially with Aurora's music that is the opposite of what it should make you feel. I have watched all your Aurora reactions more than once and often several times, but only post them when and if you feel like it and have time. Now I have more information I want to share 🙂 Don't stress about it, if you do then just ignore it, and someone else might benefit from it: There is a studio version of "All My Demons" if you want to listen privately, here is one with lyrics: youtu . be / 4QLbZThwVr8 It is very similar to the one you heard, which is amazing that she sounds so good live. "Do You Feel It?" is also called "Cocoon" by some, but it is NOT "Ocean Rose", that is a mistake: Aurora joined a songwriter camp with other artists in 2017 in Bergen, and on that camp she wrote "Soft Universe" (which is on Step 1) and "Ocean Rose" + "Wavelength" + 4th unknown song. The 3 last songs has never been "leaked" and someone "in the know" with Aurora has confirmed that "Do You Feel It?" is NOT "Ocean Rose". Btw you said "Do You Feel It?" reminded you of another song, and I'm almost positive it is "Encrypted Love" another unreleased song you reacted to a while back, it has very similar sounds. Some of the unreleased songs she performed live many times early on, others only exist in a studio "leaked" versions, and a few like "All My Demons" have both live and studio, and a few of them only exists as live versions. You wonder how Aurora comes up with so many melodies, but she has written even more songs that you would think, here is a quote from Feb 2019 from an article on unitedstatesofparis: "I write all the time, I write on tour. I have a lot of songs, maybe 200." So she had written (not recorded) ~200 songs by Feb 2019, and who knows how many she has written since then in the last 3 years with lockdowns 😲 She said in a live stream a few months back that she already completed the "Step 3" album, I assume she completed writing it but not recorded yet, but then she added "if I ever release it". 😞 *fingers crossed* In a recent interview in the last few weeks, she said she started writing her next album recently, so that must mean the next after Step 3 unless she really does not release Step 3.

Have you heard/reacted to "Puppet"? Aurora supposedly did not feel comfortable singing in front of her family for the first time and paid for studio time to produce this herself. Maybe when she was like 15 yrs old? The song and the rights to it were given to her parents as a gift. One of my favorites of hers!!

Please try to duck the pressure of over-eager fans. Aurora has made it clear that kindness amongst her 'warriors and weirdos' is fundamental, but there are people now drawn to her because she's 'The Next Thing" and want to compensate for their newbie status by being aggressively exclusive. You must has seen the interviews where Aurora says she rarely listens to herself, and that each time she is asked, her "most favorite of all time" musicians are **entirely** different than they were two weeks earlier! That girl has cost me money in acquiring the music she mentions, and she herself is also super supportive of other Bergen artists. PLEASE continue to explore music as it presents itself to you, and that way, when the natural moment to encounter Aurora arises, you'll be ready and have a richer emotional state with which to listen to her. ---and by all means, if a song strikes you as unsatisfactory--say so! she most certainly would!

i defenitely love Aurora,but just symphonic and accoustic, i don't understand why she uses all those electronics sounds! A very warm voice and person, singing with cold sounds...Sometimes i prefer her wonderful interviews.I can listen to her talking and laughing for hours! Sorry Fern, but this is not a respectful video. Artists' songs are unreleased for a reason. This means the artist **did not want their fans to listen to the songs** either because they felt the songs weren't ready, or because they're too personal. This is an invasion of Aurora's personal privacy.

Unreleased doesn't systematically equals leaked. It can simply mean the songs didn't fit with the theme of an album. Creatives creates anyway. If "My name is" comments are to be believed, there are mostly found on an old Aurora youtube channel, so she's probably okay with sharing at least some of them. The sound is too professionnal and there are too many for them all to be leaked against her will.
