Very nice reaction to this beautiful live performance❤️ I’m pretty sure John Lennon would’ve loved it❤️ Odd Martin Skålnes (which sang with her on Murder Song) wasn’t a back up singer in this one. The back up singers are Silja Sol, Magnus Skylstad and Fredrik Vogsborg😍

It was not Odd Martin singing, who had left her band earlier before this 2019 performance. It was her drummer Magnus Skylstad, who now also left as a drummer, but still worked with her as a producer on 3 songs on her new album. And Fredrik Vogsborg on guitar was also singing, he has since also left. You should definitely watch the video of them singing it on the triplej channel, Aurora is so intriguing to watch while singing.

I can assure you that she means every word. The Beatles is one of her idols. Great and kind reaction Charlene of this beautiful song written by John Lennon. Love the little updating of the lyrics in the end.

Agree with all that you said. Apparently, Lennon was not entirely happy with The Beatles version, he said that it kinda felt un finished? Maybe Aurora just did that? I think that he would have approved of this version anyway? Shame that you didn't view the video of this session for some reason, because aa I've said before I personally am fascinated when watching her perform.

I hope, 'cause if it's true that the sounds of this performance are sufficient in themselves, the way she behaves and moves during her live performances adds even a lot more... but you already know that now, don't you? Watch it, really, if you didn't.🙂 Here they weave an entire universe musically, throughout the song, and endow it with this harmony to which everyone aspires, in one way or another, sometimes without even being aware of it. When we're touched by her, or rather their, grace... Masteful, and simply gorgeous. Anyway, thanks for keeping reacting from time to time to Aurora, our beloved singing little giant, whose musical magic is both strong and full of subtlety.🙂👍

You heard "Silja Sol", Retro. She is also a Norwegian artist who makes music (with Norwegian lyrics). She was a keyboardist, guitarist and harmonic voice of Aurora for years. If you want to see Aurora and Silja on their own, I suggest "Aurora - It Happened Quiet (Live at The Current)". It is Simon and Garfunkle spectacular.
