Austin Racing GP3 V3 - ZX-10RR Install

I know this video is long, but we wanted to do that little skit at the beginning. We think it turned out great! This exhaust has the exact sound that I was looking for! I know you can't really tell by the video because I turned down the mic volume. I have a before/after exhaust video coming out and I'll leave the mic on auto so you can get a good idea of the loudness at least. There is still a deepness to this exhaust that you won't be able to hear unless you're in person.

Sweet thanks for that! We need more people to share our stuff around. We have people tell us all the time that they don’t know why we aren’t more popular. I’m not sure when we will make it back down that way as far as having time to ride, but I plan on making a trip over the winter to get some vinyl added to my wheels.

Riding in the rain. That’s no bueno bro. I’ve had that a couple times, one was a insane downpour. My town gets flooded so getting home looked like the end of the world. Thank God I had a jacket, but I was soaked down to the skin. When I got home, it stopped raining. 🤬. Love the exhaust man, I’ve been seeing that exhaust on a couple bikes lately.

Sounds good. may I ask, why did you select this exhaust over the GP1/R? I have a 2017 ZX-10RR and always looking for a good deep shorty exhaust that looks good.

I’m all about the look and sound. Not too worried about performance so the GP3 is the best option for me as far as looks go. Just so happens to be the exact sound I wanted out of an exhaust.

I think we included everything other than the cables we took off. The servo is still technically on the bike so I’ll add that whenever I do the flash and tune next year. And thanks! It’s exactly what I wanted!

Hey bud so how do you like the austin racing pipe after all this time? I bought the longer version and i absolutely love it!! I have the option to run 3 different db levels or noise levels so i really love that part!! I paid 900 bucks though i think or really close to it! Making the noise level adjustment literally only takes me between 5 minutes to 15 depending on what option i want to run but its sick dude and i recommend the one i have over yours simply because of how close your shoe is to it. I’m all about mine. The exact sound that I was looking for. I like the low mount look and I’ve never had an issue with my shoe touching it. The wait is well worth it! Mine was so much worse because my bike was in the shop for 38 days and I had the exhaust the entire time just ready to go. I did a comparison of mine and my buddies sc project. Go give that a listen if you hadn’t seen it yet. 👌🏻

Hey bro where did you get your passenger rear foot pegs? And rear seat?

I got them from a manager at a dealership. He knew someone that was taking them off and knew that I wanted some. I went in to price check them and OEM they were claiming $600 for everything. Luckily I got them for free. I’m not sure if there are any aftermarket options

How long does it take when you order an Austin racing exhaust from the company I live in California

It’s the 250. When I got mine, they didn’t have any options like that. I couldn’t imagine having the shorter one lol. I think it would look like a little nub on there 😂

Haven’t had it tuned at all. It runs great. Has a few pops and crackles here and there, but it doesn’t affect it. Your only option for tuning would probably be doing a mail in thing with your ECU.

Hey man, I have the same bike except 2018 and want to buy the same slip-on setup,.(sounds beastly btw!😜🤙).. I'm wondering upon install did it throw codes?! Is it bad to not tune the bike right away, with the cat delete?! Just wondering what you'll go with for the tune, or if you are gonna even do it?! Sorry I have so many questions...😂😂🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️

So I think Austin Racing changed their exhausts just a bit, but they still have the overall GP3 V3 as an option. No codes as long as you don’t take the servo out or if you put a servo clip in if you do take it out. That’s the only thing you’d have to worry about. It will backfire like crazy and shoot some flames, but no damage. I road around all of last year like that with no tube and I haven’t had any issues. When the time comes, I plan on getting it flashed and tuned by my local shop, CMP. Never too many questions. Let me know if I can help any more 🤗

When I got mine I think it’s was around $650. austingracing.com and pick your bike. You may be able to find it from a different website, but I’m not sure. They didn’t have different sizes when I got mine, but mine is equivalent to the 250mm. And shipping is not included, at least not when I got mine.
