Wow, that hit home. I had crossed eyes as a baby, so I can somewhat relate. Even after surgery, life's been a struggle. My eyes never worked normally, despite my eyes looking “normal” to others. It messes with your brain and how you process things. People notice something's off, but it's tough to explain. Everything's harder - focusing, just getting through the day. And social stuff? As an introvert, it's a nightmare. Your eye issues become so obvious (to yourself and others). Jon, I totally get it. Hang in there, buddy. You're in my thoughts and prayers.

Man what a “full-circle” moment. Been watching these people for the past 13+ years. Jon really is one of the humblest people and seeing so many creators I look up to come together is such a treat. For most of my post HS years I’ve been in something of my own crucible and when I finally got on me feet, got married, one of the first things I did was go buy my life long friend and his wife a new MacBook Pro (they had a 2013 air that was on its last leg) because they had to leave their dance studio and start their own company and because they had been a crucial support for years for me. The way Johnathan reacts at the end makes me feel physically uncomfortable but when you bless and give greatly to those who invested in others for YEARS, this is how generous people react. Jonathan I grew up in your videos, I can’t wait to see what you do next. Please know You are being loved and blessed, not because you are incapable or helpless but because everyone needs a hand in life just like you do now, just like you have done for so many others.

I was a kid when I first watched John, and the whole Team Crispy back in the day. I even remember Austin’s help video of what happened with his home. Honestly it feels surreal watching all of them throughout the years and being so unique and inspiring. I was 13 when I found out about these guys making KZbin videos, I am 23 now and believe or not they inspired me getting into the tech world as a whole, that it got me to become an engineer. Fantastic video. I went to watch John Morrison's video (SHhhh, don't tell him I wasn't a subscriber) so I knew the context. This is impactful. The moral from this is paramount. You know who has you when you are falling. If you don't, reach out. You know how heavy your burden is, and you know when it is too much. Let your pride go and let your circle carry some of it for you. I come from a place of understanding regarding shoving the pride to the side and allowing those around oneself help bear the weight. The pain may not last forever or it may, but your closest within that circle will always be there for you.

I grew up with the tech community - I remember being a teenager in my bedroom watching phone reviews on my iPhone 6 Plus. iJustine, Jaime Rivera from Pocketnow, and Jon from TechnoBuffalo are some of the people I've been watching the longest on KZbin, as well as Austin, Jonathan Morrison, and MKBHD. I'm 26 now, and I've worked for AT&T, Verizon, and Spectrum, partially because of KZbin creators getting me obsessed with phones from a young age. It warms my heart so much to see the people I've watched for years supporting each other like this

As one of the 3 channels for tech I went to Jon, Snazzy, MKBHD to first see the drop off when of the leads to set the standards was a surprise. He helped set a number of other tech KZbinr's not only to grow their own channels but strive for a quality level that upped his game. I guess like many I had to fill the void and I started to follow others as others I am sure did as well but I still missed Jon, especially the desk setup's. To learn of his troubles and then recently to find out how much that had destroyed his lively hood was a shock. I am glad you are on the mend and I do HOPE you keep the stuff donated, it's for you, not to give away to us and I look forward to seeing you hit hard and come back to enrich us with your content!

You won’t believe how many Jonathan’s videos I’ve watched trying to understand his style and trying to become someone like him in this space (which of course is impossible considering the legend he is).
