Some of my favorite films, art in motion the writing of elegant comedy is somehow good medicine for your head. I always feel better after watching anything from his body of work. And thank you for reminding me about films I have yet to see.

This video is excellent. I’m an actor helping another actor friend prepare for a leading role in the next Anderson film which starts principle photography this summer. This video is most helpful and I hope it goes viral within the film lovers/makers community. Thank Maggie - you crushed this!

Not the usual breakdown of spacial relationship and rule of thirds, and the math of balance; yet, I liked mention of how Wes Anderson creates colour harmony, and the roots of stylistic influence. Also, loved the choice of end scene, “What kind of Bird are you?”

I looked through your channel and see that this video is your most viewed one. That is very much deserved. I can hear and can literally see how much work you put into it and I can tell how much you care about film and how much you enjoy Wes Anderson’s work. I think that if you wanted to make KZbin a career, you could. And I would happily stay along for the ride-I love a good video analysis. I’m subscribing and I look forward to your next video!

This was a great analysis of Wes Anderson :) I love every film I see of his, and have rewatched them a dozen times. I really like how you went through various films, pointing out themes and techniques Anderson used, without giving to much away, well done! May I ask what song you used at 5:15? It's really lovely :D

Really, really good!!! Thank you!!! I'm sorry to ask: but you are in your twenties? Not, that I want to look down on your age.... but your perspective is young and extremely sharp, analytical, to the point. Really good. Anyone above 30 wouldn't be able to be as sharp as you are. It's a compliment.
