I relate strongly with this woman. I'm sure all of my kids are on the spectrum as well. And my mom. ❤️

So the technique here is label personal feelings as universal phenomena, e.g. "which food is appropriate for the moment" or maybe "which food is desirable for lunch". Here are some conjectures: - Thinking in the passive voice will have the same useful effect (e.g. "what is wanted?" // "bed"), as the subject (I-)reference is omitted when using the passive voice. - Autistic people spontaneously and naturally write in the passive voice more often than non-autistic people.

I overly use "I think" and "I feel" when talking because not using that would sound like making statements about everyone that are different for everyone so then they would be incorrect.

I would really like to learn more about the I-reference point - in general AND in relation to the autism spectrum. Does anyone have a good resource?

Vera is the only one I have seen who talks about the I-reference maybe just check her out? See what you'll find.

L Ron Hubbards cult did help me in that regard vis a vis confusion and a stable datum. I take out scratchy labels. Scratching on a chalkboard is very aaaahhhh!!! for me.
