Love the channel, but please stay away from the range rovers we get enough Range Rover reviews. I think there’s more range rovers in the junkyard than there is on the road. I never see them on the road but you see them in the junkyard all time.

I own a Range Rover Sport and it is one of the most comfortable safest and reliable vehicles I have ever owned. The most unreliable have been the 2 BMW's I had that I bought new. No major mechanical with them just irritating electronic stuff.

I had a 750i for 7 years. It was a really great car. Kept it maintained and it never gave major problems. Only repair needed was led daytime lights. And that was covered under warranty. Granted the i6 is the engine to go with for long term reliability 😇 Supposedly

BMW discontinued the M30 after 1993 after a twenty five year production run. The M5x DOHC "baby six" was offered in the E38 only for non-North American spec vehicles.

Those little Saturn vehicles were just an Econo box, but it brings back memories. My mother-in-law used to work at the Saturn plant in Springhill Tennessee and she was the person that put the doors together and then installed them on the car. she took my wife and I on a tour of the plant and the different buildings. Got to go in the building where they built the engines using the lost foam technology to build the block for the engine. They had the engine building. They had the chassis building, the engine building and then they had the building where they put the car altogether.

I own this exact car! Same color and all mine is just an Li so its the long wheelbase version. Mine has 175k miles, the inline 6 engine is reliable and much cheaper to maintain than the dreaded V8. Rare to see a 740! A gem!

Does it burn any oil? I know yours is the first iteration of the N63. I'm currently looking at 2014 or 2015 750i because they have the N63TU motor. It's a bit tough finding one with good service history.

The air wasn’t coming out on passenger side of 7 series because the fan was pointed to feet only, you can adjust where the air comes out on both sides.

Randy, that BMW 740 has Full 2 zone seperate climate control up front. I can see the passenger side is set to blow out on only your feet. You found the blower speed control but you also need to set😅 the blower mode to vent instead of foot ;) Honestly, I would LOooooooVE to see that 740 on the channel! I've really been thinking about finding a decent 740/750 that just needs some TLC / and/ or minor work like that one does! Honestly, most of the stuff I've had to repair on the 750iL I've been working on for my friend/customer has just been time consuming and not very hard. Except for Changing BOTH rear air struts, that ABSOLUTELY SUCKED without a lift!!!!

Your car has N52 which is one of the most reliable inline 6 built by BMW. The one in this video is N55 which is less reliable.

It is a cheap BMW and reliabble once you have fixed the issues. People tend to neglect maintenance the older these car get. And the cheaper they are the more the maintenance will be ignored. But once you had done all that you will find a true companion. Check out the american guy in germany who works only on BMW restaurations, except one other brand: Alpina - which is a BMW plus plus His channel is called M539 Restorations and he is doing that full time and professionally, sometimes gets even support from BMW, so try to ask him cause he knows an awfull lot and also people that might be able to help you. And he is really kind and supportive. Therefore I wish you good luck cause it is a great car once you have fixed it. They can last ages cause even in germany there are still 750 iAL from the late 80s in driving condition, the first post war german 12 cylinder which had nailed Mercedes and forced them to build a 12 cylinder over night.
