Always preferred the A5 coupe over the 4 series and c class coupe. Its a gentlemen's car where as the 4 series is too "boy racer" and the c class coupe is a little feminine in my opinion. The A5 for me is a perfect medium. In terms of driving experience if you want to throw the A5 around corners or pull off really fast your going to want the Quattro system it really does help the car feel more sporty. its not as sporty as bmw 4 series but with Quattro + sport mode + dynamic you wont feel like your missing out the 2 Litre engine has more than enough power for everyday driving

I think the opposite A5 coup is feminine 4 series & C class defo drive better and have a presence on the road.

@@JohnGuidetti751 nah, a5 coupe is much better put together than either of the other 2, much better looking coupe than 4 series and c coupe.

Great review, don't fix something if it ain't broke. I like the old exhausts more, now you got a semi-fake exhaust with the bumper having a parallelogram shape exhaust. 4:45 I think that space is meant for an umbrella.

Thank you very much for your comment. The exhaust bit was a note to those times when we've seen fake exhausts on other Audi's in the range (diesels mainly).

Is the lazy , slow getaway from a standstill not just the choice of driving mode? Does it have various modes like economy, sport, dynamic? If so, maybe it was in economy mode so had the lazy response. I've never driven an A5 but in other cars, the economy mode feels terrible and dull, whereas the sport or dynamic mode sharpens the throttle response. Just a thought, I could be wrong. Thanks.

You can remove the fuel gage from the display in the settings. There are 3 different modes for the virtual cockpit display and one removes the dials from the map view completely. You can also chose from fuel gauge, mpg etc or nothing at all on the left. It’s not a problem dude.

Thanks for your comment Paul. I know you can remove the fuel gauge but it doesn’t go elsewhere. No further integration, like on the Seat Leon. That’s where I felt it was a little haphazard in its presentation.

@@AutoBears I guess it depends if you need to see a fuel guage all the time. With the range shown at the top its kinda unecessary IMO. Each to their own though.

Very nice tech outside and inside, just don't like the fact that interior colour choices are boring just black or grey, and i can't live with without lids for cup holders. looks incomplete
