@Autohaus of Naples thanks for the intro, however 2005 was not the last year of X350 body style and it was produced until 2007 as a matter of fact it continued under this body style until 2009. But the 2008 and 2009 are considered X358 chassis! Absolutely classic and stunning, I currently own a 2009 XJ Portfolio Edition with 7800 miles on it, I like it better than a Bentley Flying Spur and talk about collector's edition, the Portfolio is for sure one of the best collector's trophy to add and at $115,000 brand new in 2009 it would certainly be a bargain now to scoop up in the high $30's.

In 2004, when that generation started, the V8 had actually grown from a 4.0 liter to ta 4.2 Liter. Also that body style did last to 2009. I have a silver '04 with the shorter wheelbase. And I love it. Anytime I'd take it out on ANY rural interstates, I have it in Sport Mode for the best acceleration on all freeway on-ramps.

Good thing she looks nice. I own a 2007 vanden plas. Bought it in Miami w 34k. One thing to watch out for on these vehicles is the air compressor that elevates the car. Can cost you your first born if it has to be repaired along w a few other things. Nice car but be prepared to come out of your pocket especially if it's high mileage.

I own a black one....the car looks contemporary. Repairs are costly but the car is cheap to buy. Perception is really high vs the actual cost.

I know these cars and this was not a highly produced color. Very exquisite and classy. Sadly I miss the inline 6 cylinder XJ6's for the durability and smoothness. The V8's had a lot of head gasket problems. Nice addition to their eclectic vehicles at Autohaus. The long wheelbase model is also produced in low numbers. Kudos to Peter for finding this car and offering it up for sale!

I had a pre Ford buyout 1996 XJ with the six.... What a douchebag engine. Everybody replaced the 6 with a Chevy 350 in the older xjs. The six was under power and I wouldn't buy a 86 or older for half price. Douchebag suspension, douchebag power for douchebags.

It is not the last year of this bodystyle. That would be 2009. (In 2007 they introduced a facelift.)

Jaguar's biggest mistake was, rather than making minor tweaks to the styling, like going with natural wood trim instead of that tacky stuff and modernizing the tech, completely changing the style while doing absolutely nothing to improve reliability and mechanics.

I would not pronounce jaguar like the English do if my life depended on it. How pretentious! If you can afford the gas bill on one of these you can call it any darn thing you want. I've had five of them and I bet you don't even own one. Besides, the only people I've ever heard use the English pronunciation were pillow biters.

Under $10,000 out the door? It must come with $6,000 in the glove box. I've had four or five jags two of them were x-js. I love these but they are way way way back of wholesale book. I bought a 99 back in 2012 for $1,800. Of course that was at Brasher's Auto auction in Eugene Oregon when I was a dealer I paid 6500 for for a 2005 S-Type.... That was 5,000 under wholesale Yours is a beautiful car but too much... I don't care how little your black dresses, that dog just won't hunt.
