Pretty interesting I've been riding motorcycles from Dirt bikes, crotch rockets and then Harley's for 40 years and I live in an area where the average winter is 25 to 55 degrees and on some days its in the 60's and all I've done to my bikes when I'm not riding them is start them up for 10-15 minutes let them idle and then give them a little rev and shut them off and I've never experienced any problems with my bikes ever. I keep them on a battery tender in between rides regardless of weather all year round and again never had any types of problems with any of my bikes. Hmmm? maybe I've just been lucky all these years or maybe this stuff only pertains to below zero weather??. Regardless thank you for sharing and ride safe.

Just get a cover/tarp for your bike, and take your battery out and bring it in your home with you! Every couple weeks just go out there and start it for 10 min

I was wondering if the “exhaust smoking up thing” was normal in very cold weather starts and your bike did it too In good condition so that makes me feel better. I was wondering if smoke coming out exhaust of carbureted bike was normal haha

@@michaelfitzgerald2787 I live in the UK but I've been all over Europe.. I'm not lucky enough to have a garage can't afford a house so whether it's here or abroad it's usually outside.. the coldest place I've ever been to Russia and that was really bad like riding really bad but I did manage to get the bike to start without any real problems. I was more concerned about the battery freezing and the fuel freezing than the motorcycle starting. I honestly genuinely don't think any modern motorcycles have any issues starting in the cold.

@sarasrayamajhi324 жыл бұрын
Because the car produces 14.2v when running which might fry your electrical.

thanks for answering my first thought when I saw it, I've been wondering wether it isn't causing electrical issues due to different voltages/ampers

bro tf are you talking about. The car produces 14v
@HaQaN3 жыл бұрын
@@fabianklein4432 No, battery produces more volts when engine is working but car using 12 and 1-2 volts to charge the battery itself. Battery gives 40-60 volts

@@fabianklein4432 My English is shit sorry if i cannot explain with good English
@fabianklein44323 жыл бұрын
@@HaQaN but where does the battery get 40volts? There are cells in the battery with a set voltage and together they give 12-14 volts. Even if you measure the volts when it is running it wont exceed 12 volts. Maybe you are confusing it with amperage?
