Great effort but the woman that plays Archer, why is she acting like that, she ruins the credibility. It's so unprofessional, so much NOT like an officer, she might as well be chewing gum and painting her nails. She belongs in a night club or playing a Valley girl, not playing a character on "Star Trek".

Just want to say that I love Commander Mason. His dry, sometimes out-of-place humour makes the whole production very tongue-in-cheek, and it makes for a very enjoyable watch! CGI, sets, props, clothes, and production values are really high quality. Great job!

Another "fan production" easily as good as some of the pros. I love the premise: building on an event from TOS and running with it. The Trek universe is a big one, and polished stories like this show that depth. Sets and effects are virtually flawless, acting a little uneven, but not enough to distract from the flow. Very well done.

I was at the premier of this film. This is my favorite Star Trek Fan Production I have seen in quite a while. It was produced on my home sets (which I am so glad are once again in good, community-oriented hands), now called Stage 9 Studios. It involves the work of my friends Samuel Cockings and Vance Major. And, it has an element of TOS that I have always enjoyed throughout my life - it makes me laugh. There are so many great cultural references. The production team did an excellent job of making a visually pleasing film, without taking themselves too seriously. I am not a stickler for canon as much as I am for entertainment value - and this film delivers. And, a quick side note, we learned at the premier that the actor playing Commander Mason does an amazing Marty McFly.

My opinion may not be that popular since many comments seem to come from people who know the production staff. However I think the graphics excellent and the production value overall is very well done. I thought the mix of so many uniforms confusing though. It's like watching Generations where the crew seemed to just wear whatever the hell they wanted. My biggest critique however is the sub-par acting from the engineer. I realize Trek almost demands a level or techno-babble but it sounds as if she's just saying words and doesn't believe in what she's saying.

@@avalonuniverse6327 This is the KZbin Universe. The purists are correct. If the crew is sporting TOS tunics, using TOS communicators & type-2 phasers, and the bridge has orange 2x4's... ... it's a "landing party", as well as a "boarding party". Please don't argue with us, as we are aging, and got nuthin else. Never mess with anyone who watched the original series when it was brand new. We WILL scratch you! By the way... Your video was terrific. Get the tall girl some acting lessons, & you're golden. Sure hope CBS leaves you alone. Best of luck!

I think I recognize which TOS episode the events of this fan film are based off of. TOS Episode The Ultimate computer where the TOS Enterprise under control of the M5 Computer leaves the USS Excalibur a complete wreck during the 23rd century war games.

Nice work. In particular, liked the witty dialog and sardonic style of acting

The quality is high here. Well done. I’m a little confused on why the Sub-Prime Uniforms are being used side by side with the Prime uniforms. Also did anyone reach out to Captain Nelson, Joseph Kerezmen, over at Star Trek Excalibur for guest spots? His production had been on hold for a while but it would have been a fun touch to see them here.
@avalonuniverse63276 жыл бұрын
Destiny Captain This is an alternate universe, neither Prime or Kelvin, which is why the Uniforms are different. Sort of a “Parallels” thing. We are not in any way affiliated with Joseph Kerezmen, but we wish him good luck with his endeavors.

Yes, as Avalon Universe says, these films are not related to Captain Nelson’s Excalibur. But have seen that film and enjoyed it. I hope they are able to make more.
